Hello, PPC, PPC fans, and other anonymous Mr's and Mrs'. I'm a new person looking to join the PPC, as is made clear in my title making that entire statement kind of unnecessary.
I just want to make my existence known to the general public.
I hope I can enjoy my time here and I look forward to doing so. As well as, hopefully, making some of your time more enjoyable.
I also look forward to doing that. -

I never introduced myself and just responded to the spambot...
Welcome, new person! May your days here be fruitful as well as full of other nutritiousness foods. If your looking for something that makes me unique among all these other awesome folks, remember that I'm the one with the slightly silly name. -

1) Who do I go to for "permission"
2) Any chapters you suggest I read before writing my own
3) Any rules or other random information I should know about PPC
It would be very helpful if someone could answer any of these questions for me, or at least show me where I can find this information.
And, in advance, thank you. -

Pretty much everything about permission can be found here, including some recommended reading.
As for other rules and information, the "Getting started" section of the wiki's front page has links to various articles that fall into that category. (I'm assuming you've already seen the Board Constitution, but if not, there's a link at the top of the Board as well as from the Permission page and the wiki's front page.) If there's any information you can't find, though, just let us know. {= )

I was on a Wiki Walk on TvTropes, as I am every other day, and I stumbled across one of the other Mary Sue Hunters. Upon further inspection into the genre, I found you guys, started reading some missions, and decided I liked it. So, here I am.

Right now, I'm still reading the Original Series. I have this crazy OCD-ish habit of having to read everything in chronological order.
...and, being a fervent Grammar Nazi.
I know, I'm weird.
Also, a belated thank you to you all for welcoming me. -

Lots of us are Grammar Nazis, and reading the entire Original Series is definitely a good start. *g*
What's your favorite so far?

If you mean my favorite chapter, it would probably be chapter 17 of the Original Series.
Speaking of which, I just finished reading the OS. So, I can finally begin with other people's missions and various other stuff. -
Ahh, the first crossover! by

My original agent pair is in the DIC, so I can definitely relate. The bit at the end of the mission with the lightsabers is particularly great, and I love the Lichen-that-sounds-like-John-Cleese. ^_^
The DIC isn't a big draw, unfortunately, but there are a few of us with agents there, and you'll find crossover missions here and there in various spin-offs if you're interested in that sort of thing. I recommend looking up continuum pages on the wiki. The big ones (LotR and Harry Potter come to mind) have crossover mission sections.

I just found that entire chapter extremely amusing. Jay's disposal of the Sith and Dark Matrix, and, of course, the lightsabers stick out to me.
Whenever I receive permission I may station someone in the DIC, temporarily or otherwise, as I can see a lot of potential in that area.
Either that, or just have a couple of Floaters. I could also see there being many of crossovers with continuities I'm not familiar with.
I shall definitely look into it though. -

I am an avid video game player, so most anything from Nintendo, as well as the Portal franchise, and a few others. I also like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Digimon, and I'll be able to add the Inheritance (Eragon) series to that list within the next two weeks.
