Whew, finally managed to stumble across a fic from the Unclaimed Badfic which I think I might have a better chance of sporking then my previous failure of an attempt.
Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6868352/5/Aragornandthe_angeli
As the summery in the Unclaimed Badfiction page outlines, there are multiple wrongs here, including the dreaded (BUM BUM BUUUUUM) Mary Sue! Unlike the prior example, the errors made are a bit more clear cut and recognisable.
Heck, the author even goes off the rails at the readers after several people pointed out that the main lead was a Sue; this will not have any bearing in the mission apart from slight turbulance and it seems like the author may/may not have recognised the faults in her writing (I can only conjecture).
Comments? Suggestions? Has this fic been sporked already? -

As for the last one, if it's on the list of unclaimed badfics (now on the claimed list because you moved it there) it should not have already been sporked. Or if it has been, then that mission is seriously lost for good.
From what I can tell, the badfic is truly and honestly horrible and the author has shown no interest in listening to constructive criticism, so there's really no reason not to spork it.
So go for it! Try it out, see what works. Get stuck and get yourself unstuck. Get yourself muddy, is what I want to say. Good luck. -

To be frank, I have next to no experiance writing in a Wiki. Is there anything I need to do in order to "stake my claim", as it were, and can any tips be provided in this regard?

Neshomeh has made a very thorough page about editing that you can find here: http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/Help:Editing
You can choose to edit in Rich Text or Source (which is a bit like html, but much simpler). I usually mix between the two.
You need to move your claimed fic to the claimed badfic page. http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/Claimed_Badfic and remove it from the unclaimed page. One of the easiest ways to do this properly is to have both the two pages open at the same time and then cut it from one page and paste it onto the other. I recommend doing this in the Source to make sure that the links make it over.
The fic should be placed in the right category and alphabetically after title.
You then look at it in the Rich Text Editor (or in the Source if you used RTE to move the text) and compare it to the rest of the claims to make sure that it looks right.
After doing this you simply write 'claimed by Church' along with the date, somewhere after the title. You can make your name a link to your user profile, which is also recommended.
You write 'claimed a bad-fic' in the summary box.
Then you use preview to check that it looks okay (and because every time you use preview a wiki-angel gets its wings) and if there's nothing that needs editing, you publish.
Then you click on the links to check that they work. If they don't, or if something else is wrong, don't sweat it. You can just go back and edit it again, until you get it right, or ask for help. -

Here is the PPC Wiki's summery of the fic in question:
Last survivor of a Magical Sue Race, she vaporizes a Nazgul at Weathertop and joins the Fellowship. She also has Arwen look on Aragorn as a little brother who's an "absolute pain" (direct quote) in order to free Aragorn up.
