I've been getting cravings to watch MST3K recently. Does anyone have any recommendations for favorite episodes that they might have? And if anyone does where can I find them?
My favorites include:
-The Deadly Mantis
-Pumaman
-It Lives by Night
-Werewolf
-Laserblast
-Revenge of the Creature
-The Leech Woman
-Track of the Moon Beast
-The Brain That Would't Die
-Space Mutiny
Some of my favorites are "Puma Man", "Jack Frost", all of the Gamera episodes, "Pod People", "The Amazing Colossal Man" as well as its sequel episode "War of the Colossal Beast" (if only because of the "Mr. B Natural" short before it... my gods.), "Mitchell" and "Soultaker".
Of course, the list goes on and on... But I think those are a good start :D
You can get a lot of those by searching Youtube - but don't bet on finding any good official DVDs, because the episode selections for those are 1) completely out of context and b) pretty much butchered.
But there are always people who "keep circulating the tapes," if you catch my drift. :3
-- Giant Spider Invasion ("Packers, wooooo! Packers won the Super Bowl!")
-- Space Mutinty ("We put our faith in Blast Hardcheese.")
-- Boggy Creek II: And The Legend Continues ("...to be not heard about by anyone.")
-- The Final Sacrifice ("Rowsdower!")
All of these will probably be found on YouTube.
Ooh, I love MST3K... where to start...
"Teenagers From Outer Space" was hilarious. So were "Warrior of the Lost World" (annoying talking motorcycles, lush green postapocalyptic landscape, and MEGAWEAPON!) and "The Final Sacrifice" (Ninjas, maps of ancient civilizations, Canada, and Rowsdower!).
Those and a lot of others are instant streaming on Netflix, if you have that.
