Today is the 100th or something-or-other birthday of Tolkien's greatest characters!
But alas, for all of these years, it's almost a shame that some still cannot fully appreciate the wonderful work Mr Tolkien has crafted into his mythos. Drawing on ancient works of old Man, he has taken fantasy writing in a new direction and left his mark on the literary world.
But I disgress. Should any of you be in Hobbiton, under the Party Tree this time of year, wish those two fictional characters all the best. -
