Maybe I could take a crack at one. Or some.
...also, I'm pretty sure The Swan Princess *technically* isn't a Disney movie...

This author has been writing some weird stuff, mainly using Kingdom hearts characters and some OCs and putting them into disney stories. They just came out with a new one using pocahontas:

Now personally, I think that these really really suck. But I dont know if it's just me or not. I want a second opinion. Anyone?
They have also written an Aladdin one, Hunchback of Notre Dame one, and a Swan Princess one in case this sparks any interest.

Swan Princess falls squarely under that category of Disney Renaissance copycats that tries to emulate that whole aesthetic as best they can. Well... that, and by the time Disney had started cranking out direct to video sequels for all their classic movies from the Disney Animated Canon, Swan Princess already had like three of them, so... yeah.
As far as I'm concerned, the source material is still so much better than Swan Princess anyway.
I mean, for one thing, the source material is a freaking Tchaikovsky ballet! You're really not going to top that in an animated musical, so yeah.
Eh, I might think about the Swan Princess one, if only so I can subliminally spork that movie too. Not claiming it yet, but still.
Blatant mischaracterization of the canonical characters, copy-pasted scenes and lines (and songs!) from the original film, plus a talking Neoshadow? *makes a noise partway between disgust and rage* Yeah, I'd argue that this would probably qualify as badfic.
I mean, i've already claimed two fics, and I dont have permission yet. I'm still working on the sample piece, so i'll request permission soon...but in the mean time can I claim it?
