I put up a Permission Request form, but nobody's taken a look. Should I try again once it falls off the main page?

Sorry-- I saw it, didn't have time, and then disappeared for a week. Back now, though, and I have replied-- there's a bit of an issue with your sample.

The Permission Givers are usually quite busy, so if you're lucky, one might see your request before it drops off to page 2, but if it does, it's completely okay to repost it.
Give it a little bit of time, and don't lose hope - you could also try waiting for a PG in the IRC channel, usually one or two of them eventually drop by there. -

You can use the time until a PG notices your request and maybe take another look at your samples and agents, maybe correct some mistakes you haven't noticed before or simply polish your samples.
This way, you can put up a more refined request if your old one drops off the front page or even gets rejected by a PG - or, if it gets approved, you have some good preparation for doing your first proper Mission, and a better feel for your writing and agents.
Long story short, it's a win-win situation for you! :3
