This fic is AWESOME. It's gritty without being overly dark, the main character is competant, yet not a gary-stu by ANY sense of the word, and the twist at the end...well, I can't say anything but I can say this: Holy. Nuts.

Unless there's a similar group in a previous game whose name I've forgotten, the Children of Atom are a church of people who worship a live atomic bomb in the center of a town called Megaton.
