As a plot point in my first mission, I mention that Portia McSweeney, Intelligence Intern, has requested to be declared "Summarily Unfit" for duty in the Harry Potter fandom. The Major part of this has to to with me becoming bored of the series after book 5 (around the time I discovered Discworld) and for petty, shipping war related reasons on part of both me and my character (only read the start of HBP and swore on the graves of my pets never to open DH nor read the epilogue).
In character, there are also psychological reasons for the request, as Canonical R/Hr and H/G pairings have caused Portia, in the past, considerable, brooding anger and she fears massive bias in her scouting (such as mistaking canonical arse-ishness and personality changes for character breaches). Basically, her only remaining link to the world is a warm, fluffy sea of constantly H/Hr or non-OBHWF fanfic. However, she has also requested fitness exams for Discworld, Escaflowne, Gargoyles and various other fandoms where she has no such qualms.
However, since I wanted to scout out the bigger crimes against canon, the Church and Good Taste in the H/Hr fic I claimed, I would like to ask if, after issuing such a ruling, a one-report hold back is required to see how badly further reports might be botched. And could I write it as such, or is there some other procedure that is followed?
