I'm new to this community, but have been a long time reader and fan of PPC and OFUM. I'm very much looking forward to romping around in here.
Here, have a big fluffy cushion and a pack of ultra absorbent towels (good for cleaning up blood and random spills, though it's hard to get Sue-blood glitter out).

I haven't seen all of them, but so far, it's Donna. (Although I found the whole metacrisis thing to be a bit silly ...)
I'm also a devoted Donna fan. She was my favorite Companion for the mere fact that she was a Companion in the truest sense of the word-- just a best friend and traveling partner, someone to see the universe with.

I haven’t seen the fifth season yet, (no spoilers please ^^) but I worry very much that the Doctor will be given a new cow-eyed companion who falls in unrequited love with him. I mean, Rose and Martha were great and everything, but it's getting old fast.
I can assure you that you won't have to worry about that. The new companion, while my friends bashed a bit, I actually quite liked her.
And I always liked Martha better than Rose... She was at least well-educated and experienced, with a kind heart.
I totally agree with you about Martha! She's actually my favorite to write, at least; Donna's awesome, but I'm not funny enough to do her dialogue.
I like Amy, too, though I do wish she wasn't so hard on poor Rory.
