My promised interlude is now ready to read: 'Blackouts, Beasties and Bored Canon Characters' (wherein Eagrus ends up on a quest through the DTE and beyond). Enjoy!

Concrit and opinions much appreciated!
I concur with DawnFire that you've described it pretty well. You actually got me interested in the series. (BTW, did you know that someone posted the entire series on YouTube?)
Either way, what made you decide to write the interlude in the Knightmare continuum? And what, pray tell, were those monsters that Agent Cyba was so apprehensive about?

I mean, wow, it's like nostalgia central... excellent choice of canon to play in.
My one problem may not actually be a problem: the dialogue of your three agents sometimes sounds a little stilted. On the other hand, it seems mostly to be the Borg, so it may well be intentional.

The idea of canon characters getting bored, watching television and becoming genre savvy after their show is cancelled is glorious. Good on you!
I don't know that continuum at all, but you described it so well I didn't need to. Also, it's absolutely perfect for DTE agents, and I love the lines about that that slipped in. Also, the ending. I love the ending.
Amazing interlude! I'm glad you wrote it. Have you linked to it on the wiki page yet?
