A Petition to Change the Mini for the Cadfael Continuum. by

So, I am currently at work on a Mission for the Brother Cadfael continuum, and there is a mini involved. Checking on the Wiki, I find that the Mini-type for the Brother Cadfael continuum is a Mini-Jerome. However, there is no recorded instance of this Mini appearing, and I can't find any previous missions in the Cadfael continuum, let alone where it came from. Not only that, but the character in question, Brother Jerome, is not really Evil in so much as just sort of an annoying kiss-ass to a character who opposes the will of the protagonist.
Since it would appear that I'm the first person to write a mission for the continuum, and since Jerome just doesn't seem to fit, given the facts, I am here to petition a change of Mini for this canon.
To this end, I propose that the Minis for this continuum be changed to simply a miniature version of the character being misspelled, not unlike those of the NCIS continuum.
Please? -

If you are the first to do a mission with a mini in it, then mini naming rights is supposed to be yours, IIRC. I have no clue about the canon, but you explained it well enough that it makes sense.

How is this possible? I thought that series was too obscure for fanbrats to get their greasy paws on! Boy, talk about really raping my childhood . . . arrrgh.
I doubt my vote has any weight, but I definitely agree that it should just be mini-people for the Cadfael continuum. Besides, can you imagine loads of Brother Jeromes running around? -

There are two Cadfael fics in my future. One of them, entitled "Independence", is basically ripping off the plot of the Leper of St. Giles thus-far (right down to one of the Sue's guardians being named "Agnes"), and has the (rather innocuous) Mini named "Cadfaels". SO yeah.
Also, yeah, loads of Mini-Jeromes would be less funny and more irritating.
Also also: WOOT! someone else who knows Cadfael! I thought I was the only person here who had ever heard of it! -

It was one of the many, many weird things that my parents read to me when I was little. :D A Morbid Taste for Bones and its climax with Sioned is one of my favorites of all time. It's one of the canons I love, but that no one else seems to know . . . And now there's Suefic for it?

This one is the one I'm working on right now. Like I said, it mostly just lifts the plot of The Leper of St. Giles and inserts a GRRRRL POWER Sue... I actually wish that she would post more so that I could have more to go on.
This one gives Cadfael a daughter. A converted Saracen princess. So yeah.
I haven't really ventured much further into the archives, mostly due to my need to do homework, but...

where the first person to come across a misspelled name in a badfic felt the mini should be put up for adoption on the board, even though they didn't even set out on a rescue mission for said mini.
I think it's widely agreed among PPC'ers that the first one to write a mission in a continuum that comes across a mini gets to name it. (Kind of like how European explorers went around the world naming places even though others had been there first; those others weren't on a mission.) So, I agree with you that you should get to name the Brother Cadfael minis.
