Success! Take that, webs! That'll prove that things can still be accomplished despite you being spazzy as heck!

Indeed, dear friends, I've managed to scavenge up a copy of Celebrian by using the dark wizardry internet archiving. The only question left to ask is who wants to host it? If no-one fancies the stigma attached to hosting such an abomination, I'm quite willing to stick it up on my blog, with an unnecessarily large disclaimer that it has absolutely nothing to do with me.
The URL for it is here:

However, it may be a good idea to get a copy of it posted up somewhere, because I'm not sure how long those archives last.
... while trapped on my grandmother's computer. ._.

Thanks! I've updated the wiki and added notes after the MST and Mission saying that they are dead links. Unfortunately, they can not be retrieved via the Wayback Machine.
I do have a copy of that saved to my hard drive. No idea why I decided to, but it comes in handy now if you want it?
Like Teddy said, you could send it to me or him to post; it doesn't matter either way.
My email's in the email box thingymajigy, I set it to show my email.
Ah, sorry, I missed this yesterday. Yeah, it may as well go back up if you've a copy of it.
You could send it to Gamma so it could go up with the rest of Celebrian? Or email it to me here: http://manwithstuff.blogspot.com/p/contact.html and I'll put it up somewhere.
Thanks!
...I'll host it. I listened to the entire thing and didn't even bat an eye, so...
I'll put up another comment here when I've finished copying and pasting and other such stuff.
I was able to last until Manet showed up, but I gave up from squick and boredom. I have no idea how you kept going all the way to the end
It took awhile, but even I was eventually towed by the horror that is C*l*br**n. That's just too many bizarre fetishes for one man to handle.
Or do you inhale undetected specks of it in the air? What's the deal? I can't even read the summary of it in the wikia without gagging.
I find it helps to read it with a surgical or medical tone, and giggle at the stupid words used. But bodies are just bodies, even horribly distorted bodies. And these characters most certainly not alive.
So they're like sample cadavers made into puppets.
... Maybe it's not that good that I use an equally nightmarish image to battle a nightmarish squick image. >_>
Ah, thanks mate. It's not that I've an aversion to putting it up on my blog, it's just that enough people find me by looking for porn as it is. Seriously.
That's a big help, thanks! I'll update the wiki when you're done.
I would think that the first question would be "why would you want to host it in the first place?" But then, I have a notable lack of morbid curiosity.
Anyway, I'd suggest something like Google Docs as a place to host it, but that's probably leaning into copyright infringement territory.
It's much in the same manner that My Immortal was not left to die. As much as I detest the legendaries, I feel that they still need to be on the internet, if only to serve as a record of just how much horror a person can write.
Aye, I was thinking about Google Docs, and I also don't know how legally dubious that would be. Does anyone have any ideas?
I suppose there will always someone who needs physical - or digital - evidence of just how bad some of this stuff is. meh.
Anyway, Google Docs has this notice: "When uploading files, you agree to abide by the Google Docs Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Do not upload or share any content that infringes copyrights or that you otherwise do not have the legal right to upload or share."
I don't think that the fact that the fic is abandoned actually gives us any right to upload it to GD.
The original author has no copyright. He or she was writing fanfiction, which is mooching off published works that do have copyright. When fanfic writers put up that disclaimer at the beginning of the fic, they are disclaiming any copyright.
Plagiarism of fanfic is still a very very bad thing, please don't think that I'm promoting that, but fanfic operates in the grey area of 'I'm not messing with your copyright here', which becomes much less grey in the favor of the actual copyright holder (the canon author) when fanfic writers start talking about copyright.
The original writer, in theory, holds the copyright. Unless, of course, the fic was written under Creative Commons, or the writer relinquished all copyright.
Copyright is a funny beast, but if it goes up to GD, we'd be well served putting a disclaimer attributing it to the original writer. Do we know under what circumstances it was originally hosted?
Free webhosts, including Webs, Tripod, and probably LiveJournal, have policies against posting material that could be considered pornographic, and I'm afraid C*l*br**n falls into that category, however stupidly it's written. Anybody posting it on a service like that runs the risk of getting their account frozen—hence, I won't be doing it, and I'd caution anyone else using a similar service against doing so, too.
If anyone is free of such restrictions and wants to volunteer, though, I'm sure posterity would... uh....
>.>
Well, the tradition would be allowed to continue. Let's leave it at that.
~Neshomeh
It's permitted on LiveJournal, as far as anyone can tell. If it isn't, then it's policed very badly indeed. On Blogger, anything up to, and including, hardcore pornography is permitted, so long as the blog is marked as 'adult'. Which mine is...
... I've got the nasty feeling that I'll be the one hosting it.
Does this mean that I have to cancel my C*l*b*i*n is dead party?
Looks like Celebrian is back...
Really though, why is the fic's writing so boring? The contents are very disgusting and creepy, yes, but why does the writer write it in a way that makes it...not very engaging at all?
By the way, I really can't host the fic for you. After all, I really don't have a website or anything.
It's just that general level of boring that runs through the whole fic, and I've absolutely no idea why it does. You'd honestly think it wouldn't be, in a train-wreck/'3 guys, 1 hammer' sort of way.
Incidentally, never, EVER look up '3 guys, one hammer'. It's not what it sounds like. It's worse.
Why tell people not to look something up? It's like saying "Don't push the big red button." It's now all I can think of doing.
A part of it's subconscious maliciousness (don't snap: we all exhibit it), and a part of it's an honest mistake brought on by overwork and a lack of sleep. Of you MUST look it up, do so on Encyclopedia Dramatica, of all places.
Just don't say I didn't warn you. And for the love of Pete, don't click the links on that site if you don't want to be offended or see something horrible.
