I think this has gone on long enough. Let's all agree that stuff happened involving you that was dumb, and that it's over now, and that we're moving on. Therefore, you don't have to continue with this sort of self-flagellation, and we can all get along without the temptation for further drama. If you have questions, that's fine. But ask them like a normal person and don't double-post when you already have a question thread. Capiche? No further comment on this topic should be necessary.

As for the actual questions, I don't know when Echo and Kat were written, but if what they did is different from what we're doing now, that's fine. It wouldn't make sense to have multiple APDs, so we've standardized it. It's hardly the only time something like that's been done, so it's really not a cause for concern--especially since other people have got on board and written missions in the APD as it is now.

To paraphrase something Dann said, we decide what the continuity is around here. If we don't think there's a problem with the continuity, there isn't. QED.
