I've seen this one floating around on the Unclaimed Badfic page for a while now, so I hope no-one has any objections to my claiming it?

For some reason, Phoenix's fingerprint instils in me a feeling of blind rage.

It was pretty common in England a good few centuries ago. Technically, it's one word, 'dearheart', but I was tired last night and didn't notice.

Aslan calls Lucy dearheart in the albatross episode of VDT, which the movie CUT OUT... of course. Sigh.

Her world-building skills far exceed her actual writing skills (a few of her protagonists come off as Canon Sues to some people), but she's definitely worth taking a look. Her most popular work is the Dragonriders of Pern series, which is many books long, but she's also written a lot of other stuff, mostly "soft" sci-fi.
