It lacks the sense of humor I've come to associate with other MSTs. You had a couple jokes here and there, but most of what I observed were either direct observations (spelling corrections, for example) or just railing against the author.

Still, I guess it's a bit understandable since you're still only in the author's notes. I'll wait and reserve judgement until you get into the body of the text itself.
