So. I was a bit annoyed by the amount of Hetalia badfic cropping up (not to mention all the Mary Sues on DA)... and since no one had done an OFU for Hetalia before, I thought I'd try.
(Pst, Cassie, I used my own waiver this time! *grins sheepishly*)
The International Academy of Hetalia Fanfiction will now be taking registration for fanbrats of all shapes and sizes.
(also, any PPCers willing to participate in any future Crises that may arise? I was thinking something along the lines of the Hetalia movie, where everyone was turning into white blobs. XD;;) -

What happens when you spell an OC's name wrong? Because I see a "Kuril" (parody marty stu) in this paragraph:
"Don't even think about it, leech boy," Jennifer piped up. Kuril gave her a stare that was probably supposed to be 'watch your mouth, mortal, or I'll bite', but failed dramatically because of his melted chocolate eyes. Ah, the prices one paid for bad description.
Before that was a Kiril:
"Damn, so that means I can't use it?" Kiril Loris, the vampire student with dripping chocolate eyes, asked disappointedly.
I'm sorry if I'm saying it here, because I already commented on all the chapters so far. -

Why do I never catch these things until they've been published? OTL
Hmmmm... mini-students are a creepy thought. I'll just go change it and we can pretend nothing happened.
Although I must've had the Kuril Islands on the mind. -

Ooh! I love me some Hetalia (though the dub doesn't really bother me for some reason).
If I get around to getting my agents together, you can bet they'll get involved! -

This looks interesting, Lily. I've submitted my character to you.
Yeah, I know about the sues on DA. Sure, Hetalia isn't the most accurate series based off history, but at least the author did his history homework. Some of the creators of those sues don't seem to care, however.
(All I've heard about crises on the PPC is that there was a backlash against them at one point, so correct me if I'm wrong. But I wouldn't mind if they pop up again in the future.) -

Well, OFUM focused on Lina pretty much all throughout the story, and from what I've seen, the main student character in OFUs (aka the author's student) gets most of the spotlight as it's his/her time at that OFU. Besides that, the only other students whose heads I can 'get into' are Megan's, Merka's, and Kriss's. Maybe something from their POV once in a while?
Jen might be the buttmonkey just because I torture her a bit more on-screen. I'm sure everyone else gets just as picked on. -

You've mentioned Australia (the character) as Jennifer's mary sue's love interest, but he was never mentioned again. I know that in her fic, Arthur and Alfred are together since they are her favorite Yaoi couple, but she never mentioned if Australia was hot, ugly, or anything in her form. What was the purpose of that?
-
Actually, no. by

She's an England fangirl. Her Sue, being England's daughter, can't be paired with England. Australia was next on the list. So yes, she still harbours a little bit of sense.

I've wondered why she made her sue their "daugther", and why pair her up with Australia, of all nation-people?

See, I don't read any OFUMS besides this one, so I wouldn't know.
If you want, I could allow you to get into Carolina's. That is, unless you already have a person that is a "nerd" whose head that you can already get into.
Any backstory that any of the characters have? I know that you might not need it, but I'm curious to what happened to Jennifer before she was picked up by the OFUM. -

Ffff, why don't you have an FFN profile; it makes it a lot easier that way.
Anyways, thank you for those reviews! I'm glad you like it so far. Bled was explained in chapter one by Canada; it's what happens when blue and red are forced to mix but don't quite form purple.
I'll try and slip Carolina in eventually; she'll probably be in the nerd group. There's a high chance that the plushie was burned or sold on the black market. Hmm... I think Huskie will look half-Husky as well, since he/she/it did put "human with freakish tendencies" on the form.
I'm glad that you think Jennifer's an amusing protagonist! There'll be a lot more stuff in store for her. -

It's true. And the main difference between Hetalia goodfic and badfic is that the goodfic at least has historical references and believable characterisation.
(but that may be goodfic for every fandom, but the history portion pertains specifically to National-personification fandoms like Hetalia and SatW)
It's infuriating. I know many people who create Hetalia OCs that are very well-researched, and then the Suethors go and mess up everyone's reputation. Graaargh.
(Yeah, there was backlash against PPC-centric crises like the Macrovirus and the Ypurs. But a crisis at an OFU happens in just about every OFU... so... yeah.) -

Yes, the pict might be amusing to see (If you are planning on another crisis happening in the future). Also, you should mention the chibi versions of the characters! Wonder how the fangirls will react to that...

I got a question. Can you give me Gender, Species, Age, and Physical Description for the following OCs? Because I've tried looking through the comments, but to no avail. Can you, or am I missing some of them in the comments?
Megan
Tenterden
"Shinbun-Kun"
Jodie Smith
Kriss Kross
Scylla and Charybdis
Neira Henrietta
The Jennifer nicknamed "Merka"
Sara Parker
Fransia
I know this is off topic, but one of the Mary Sues, Ema Skye, apparently has the same name as a character in Phoenix Wright. I don't know if the anon knew the series or not, but I sure was bugged the moment I saw that name.
Back on topic:
(Ah, crisis at OFUs! If so, then I don't mind at all. You're the writer, after all.) -

Those OCs PMed their reg. forms to me... I think. Um, I definitely know Megan, Charlie Tenterden, Kriss, Merka, and Sara gave me theirs through Facebook. Well, actually Megan gave me Tenterden's as well, but we had already created his character prior to IAHF and he's just here to give Mr. Hugh hell.
Let's see... Megan's an alien; Fransia is a Mochi. Shinbun-kun is a Hetalia minor character; he's also known as Mr. Newspaper. He represents the media.
Everyone else is human.
Haaaa, Ema. I don't really ask where people get their names, though. So... yeah. -

Sorry. The reason why I asked this is because I was making RPG Maker Sprites for myself. Nothing big at the moment, just that. Although I can make most of the sprites of the characters, I don't think it'll be an easy process if I don't have a clue of what some of the OCs look like at all.
Speaking of that, are the characters wearing uniforms in the school? Are they just wearing random clothing that they would usually wear? What? -

No, they're not, even if the Nations wear uniforms in Gakuen Hetalia. So... yeah, normal clothing. -

One of the applications that was recently sent as of this date also seems a bit too much like Luchia, the main mermaid girl from Mermaid Melody. (I may be looking too hard into this...)
...One thing's for certain, I sure know of a lot of series, no matter what they are or where they're from. -

Is that you absolutely must have a troll who goes on and on about Humon's Scandinavia and the World being better and bugging the crud out of everybody. Possibly even a small faction of allied SatW readers. Because revenge is sweet. *eg*

That is, if you like slash. The fandom's full of it.
I've read both, and I think SatW is the more politically aware portion of the two. Hetalia can be politically aware, but that exists more in the fandom, with the goodfic. The canon plotline consists mainly of a string of jokes about stereotypes, and the badfic consists of porn without historical relevance or plot.
Hetalia has the prettier art, though. XD;; -
