I'm pretty sure it's a take-off on "Left Behind" (It was in all the papers) with one mad god spiriting away the discs children... and making the mistake of taking Young Sam.

Oh, and apparently Detritus and Ruby have a daughter already but no offspring from our other current running couple(s).
