Looking for Araeph? by

I really don't like using the Board for this sort of thing, but I really can't find any other method of contact...
May I borrow Agent Quen for a while? For my Permission piece, I need the Marquis to have some sort of aide or secretary, and if I don't need to, I'd prefer not to have to make up a new character, me being just a lil' newbie and all. Si non confectus, non reficiat, and all that, what?
Also, if I am allowed to borrow her, can I get a little more information about her character? I can work with the description given by the Wiki page if I have to, but I'd really like to know more if I'm really going to do this correctly. (Namely because mangling a character created by a Permission Giver doesn't really seem like the best way to showcase my writing skills, y'know?)
Thank you!
P.S. If I'm not allowed, do I have permission to make up someone new? For my idea to work, I really need him to have a secretary, and I'd really prefer not to have to throw it all out now. Thanks again! -

As for Agent Quen, normally I'd give permission right away, but in this case, I didn't actually create the character. Agent Quen really belongs to NenyaQuende, who is no longer active. So, to make extra sure Quen's written well, if you would like to use Quen, please send me a first draft of your piece before you post it. (My e-mail is above.)
If you would like to know more about Quen's personality, you can check out her now-defunct livejournal here. Also, you can read the missions where I've written about her:

You can make up someone new. by

It'd probably be easier, actually, given that writing someone else's character means constantly checking oneself to make sure they stay in character. Your new character doesn't have to be frightening, either - it doesn't even have to be complex. You could make a joke out of it; have fun describing the secretary as being so unremarkable as to almost fade into the wall, or something like that. Throwaway characters are easy because you don't have to invest much in them.
Araeph may give you permission to borrow Quen anyway, but I think you're better off making your own. -

Neshomeh already told Arbre that they should look into asking Araeph; you're sending mixed messages by telling her that. It's just making everything more confusing.

But...But...Neshomeh said to look for Araeph......when I asked before about making a secretary...because Agent Quen was already the secretary...and...and...secretary...Agent Quen...um...um...AAAUGH!!! *quickly degenerates into confused newbie-sobs*
Well, I'm not quite that broken-up about it all, but I'm still receiving some mixed messages here...I CAN HAZ THIRD OPINION PLZ? -

I haven't had time to read every post on the Board and apparently missed that one; I read your post and thought it was an out-of-the-blue thing. No worries.

Since the Marquis already has the secretary, Agent Quen, you should ask Araeph about a cameo, or ask Araeph if you could write in a different secretary, or what have you.
As to how to contact her... the Wiki, maybe? Or she'll see this one on the 'Board. (Just a word to the wise, if this one doesn't work after a few days, try to avoid posting multiple threads, as it pushes others off the edge of the page.) -

People tend to move around a lot in this organization. I think that making someone up would be the way to go, just have a plausible reason why Quen is not there.
