Thank you very much!
It's a Doctor Who/Artemis Fowl crossover, and I haven't even *read* Artemis Fowl, but it seems really stupid.. It involves the planet Midnight with a much-less-scary Midnight Alien (now called a "quantum zombie") and Artemis getting turned into the Master.. yeah.

((((((Holly put a hand on Artemis's shoulder, "Are they fond of gold? Are you going to kidnap a lady for ransom?''
Artemis got up from his study chair and went to the door.
"Oh come on Arty, will you relax? Sit down and learn to take a joke." Holly called after him.
Artemis sat back down the way a small child would go to the naughty step.))))))
OOC in the first paragraph. Pretty good call. D'you want it?
Sorry for my ignorance, but I can't catch the meaning of this:
Artemis sat back down the way a small child would go to the naughty step.
Can someone explain it, please?
I don't know the full context, but I expect it means that Artemis is angry and/or pouting, and sits down forcefully with his arms crossed to show as much. "Go to the naughty step" is a version of "you're in time out" or "go to your room"--the child has misbehaved, so their punishment is to be temporarily removed from the group. It's very effective when done properly. However, assuming Artemis is a good bit older than a young child, it's a bit demeaning to suggest that he would behave that way. (I've never read Artemis Fowl, so I have no idea; just supposing.)

Thank you very much!
In case anyone doesn't know, this is already on the Unclaimed Badfic list. I'm not normally this stupid, I swear.
No, really, what? Also, why is Holly calling Artemis 'Arty'... More important, why is he standing for it?
Well, at least the grammar and spelling seem half decent... Ugh...
The grammar gets worse, trust me. Plus, Holly is aparently suffering from an octopus heart disease. I kid you not.
What's an octopus heart disease? Does it really exist in that continuum or is it something like octopuses dwelling inside her heart? (that would do great in the sporking!)
I wish I were sufficiently versed in either continuum, 'cause that right there would be enough to get me involved. Alas, I know nothing about Artemis Fowl and only very little about Doctor Who.

In later books, the relationship between Holly and Artemis improves, and she does call him "Arty" from time to time.
Still, it's a terrible fic, and whaaaaat the faires fought the Daleks? Holy...
