Mkay, thanks for the warning
...and for the presents!
If Something Blue is reading this: HA. I TOLD YOU I WOULD POST.
I'll go by Gamma here, and this may or may not be because I think ancient Greece is awesome.
As you may or may not be able to tell, I'm a friend of Something Blue, who joined recently and directed me here!
You'll find that we like most of the same things, probably because...well, she has a lot of free time and directs me to things I'll probably like. And we have similar tastes, so...
I like Harry Potter, Sherlock Holmes, New!Doctor Who (-cough-ElevenFangirl-cough-), and assorted animes. I also enjoy reading bad fanfictions, funnily enough. It makes me laugh. That's probably what motivated me to post; the lulz.
And...um...Hi? >>
A gentle warning: Some people don't take kindly to chatspeak, (e.g. lulz). Don't worry, I just thought I'd give you some advice for the future.
In the meantime, you're a nice shiny newbie and you can have 5 t-shirts, two brownies, and some C4.
Mkay, thanks for the warning
...and for the presents!
Wecome to the PPC Posting Board! Here, have some chocolate, and enjoy your stay!
...CHOCOLATE -omnomnoms-
Thank you!
Oh you're an Eleven fangirl? Brilliant! *Huggles her poster of Ten* ^^;;;
Welcome to the board! And have a woolly hat and some candy.
Yeah, Eleven is my Doctor!
Something Blue also loves Ten, you'll probably get along very nicely.
I actually have a friend who loves Nine, too
So it's Nine, two Ten, and an Eleven fangirl!
Have a generic book of your choice.
Oooh, generic books are so...generic! Thanks!
Have a folding car. It folds in a rather heavy case when not in use. Careful, tends to unfold itself when nobody is looking. Do not put it near fragile objects.
Ah, if I only knew how to drive...or had a liscence...and when has that ever stopped me? It certainly didn't when I stole that spacecraft!
Thanks, I'll figure it out!
Don't feed it Suevian Honey.
Yes, that could be problimatic. Thanks!
Have a pet cat and a Pie of Rassilon. Be warned - nobody here has tasted the Pie and lived...
MMM, pie!
Ooh, cat! I have three of those!
Yeah, Doctor Whow = epic win
...OH, SHUT UP. IT'S CALLED A TYPO, BLUE. >Oh, by the way...I am going to physically MAKE you watch "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" AND the sequel. You will probably like it, as it involves a time travelling phone booth, as well as philosopher playing nerf ball with cowboys.
Wow, we have a lot of new people arriving recently. Where are you all coming from? :P
Welcome to the Board. *hands over a bag of pebbles and a Random Shiny Object* May these gifts serve you in dark places, when all other lights go out... no, wait, I'm quoting Lord of the Rings. May they come in handy!
We're falling from the sky, of course! Didn't you hear about the hole? No?
Oh well then.
SHINY THINGS. OHBOY!!!! -attaches to belt- Thanks!
I'm getting so many gifts from everyone XD
Welcome, new friend! Have a set of centurion's armor, fresh out of the time machine. I hope it fits!
OOOH, nice!
-tries on- Yay!
Thank you!!!
Here you have sunglasses. They won't protect you from sunlight.
It's also good that you keep secret if you like or not ancient Greece, because everyone has the right to have a secret. I was born in the last decade of the century, but I'm not telling which century, for that's my secret (also Groucho Marx's secret).
Too true, my friend, too true.
Thanks for the sunglasses, I'll find a use for them...maybe as a prank.
Or better yet, maybe they don't protect me from the sunlight, but they're X-Ray glasses!
Of course they're X-ray glasses... but just if you have X-Ray vision. I blame Laws of Narrative Comedy, but I always blame them so pay no heed when I run around screaming against them. Pay no heed to anything here in fact, except if you see someone with a flamethrower.
Greetings, less-new-than-me-person!
Yes, ancient Greece is awesome. Many a night have I loathed Disney's Hercules for that very reason.
May we be noobs together! THEY SHALL FEEL OUR WRATH! Or not. Whatever works for you, I suppose.
Yeah! N00b power for the win! *high five*
*high fives also*
*High fives as well*
Long live the n00bs!
May they not go insane! ... insaner anyway.
The term "noob" or "n00b" has never really been encouraged on the Board, for its rather negative connotations. We tend to prefer "newbie", as opposed to those who have been around since the Dark Ages for a while, who are called "oldbies".
Not being cranky or anything, I just figured it might be an idea to let you know.
Ah, mmkay
I shall keep that in the recesses of my brain for the future!
Got it. Sorry, didn't know, but know now.
Fair winds!
Now you can throw BBQ parties!
OMNOMNOM BBQ!
Thanks!
