Rant on myself by

Well, I've put the introductory thread, now I'm going to have a series of rants describing myself and several things you can expect to hear about. After this expect a list of the characters I intend to have as agents (before you ask, it won't be my acceptance thingy, it will be their adventures as they wait to take the test to become agents).
First, a bit about me, I like EVERYTHING, there isn't a single thing I don't like, go ahead try me, however I don't like clowns, I HATE CLOWNS!
Now a bit about my writing, I've never really published my fanfic, I might start doing that now and if I do you might find a link with the question, is it badfic? I honestly can never tell if something I've written is badfic or not, if it isn't YAY ME! If it is, I will personally commit seppuku and have my team of agents (when and if they get approved) rip any Mary/Gary Sue's/Stu's to shreds, as well as fix the badfic immediately. -
Now I have a question by

I've recently dug up some of my older works, edited them slightly (I think you'll be able to guess what's been edited) and have been thinking of putting them online in preparation for becoming an Agent. Only problem is, where should I put them? Technically a few of these could be considered fanart so perhaps fanfiction.net but for other things such as original works where should I publish them?
I'm pretty sure you don't want me to just post these fairly long stories on a topic but would rather I gave you a link, so any suggestions for a good site to put them? -
There's also FictionPress. by

FictionPress.com
It's basically ff.net, only for original works. You can check out my account if you want to, to get an idea of what it's like.

I'd recommend a Dreamwidth or Livejournal account-- you do need an invite code for DW, but I can get you one of those. Posting things like that here is a bad idea, partly because yes, one long thread might cause raised eyebrows, and partly because old threads, as noted, fall off the edge of the page, and eventually, the internet, and you'll lose them. If you have a blogthingie of your own, you can archive them... Forever! *cackles*
Er, yes. So... Livejournal's good, or Dreamwidth. -

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, and I apologize I didn't realize that posting a new topic got rid of the oldest topic. As for the rant part, I had intended for it to be a rant but it didn't turn out quite right...
Oh well, I shall keep this new information in mind and make really long posts next time instead of a few bit sized ones. Yes I do like mushrooms, and why would I hate the Inheritance Cycle? I don't LOVE it but I do like it, so yes I have heard of Angela. -

Well, Eragon is rather widely disliked around here, mostly because it's... well.
Terriblecliche, and the prose is... irritating, to some. And Eragon is a pretty flagrant Stu.
I didn't react with visceral and immediate loathing either, it's just... not something I'm into. Twilight, on the other hand, was badfic-grade terrible. Most people 'round here aren't fans of that one, either. -

Since every new thread pushes an old thread off the edge of the page, it's generally appreciated if you keep things all on the same one, just to save space. And as an aside, these are all things you could put in your introductory thread-- that's kinda the purpose of an introduction.
Also, rant generally tends to mean angry vent... just internet-wide, it's more of an anger-related term.
Finally-- ...Mushrooms? Do you like mushrooms? -

apparently, "rant" used to also mean a type of dance.
This random fact is brought to you by Elcalion's Random Facts of the Day.

Although you're probably part of the 80% of the Board that hates Eragon, do you know about Angela? Yes?
And you can describe yourself, but mostly around here we chat about PPC related stuff. Not angry rants. Although it does say clearly at the top of the Board we can natter on... -
