This was a nice view on getting a new partner. People tend to mostly skip the bit about losing the old partner.I can see how that would make someone extremely cranky, but Cara seemed to be handling it pretty well.
Mirriam is interesting in a naive sort of way. They should work out as a good agent pair. Thanks for sharing.
We've finally finished another story from Cara and Miriam's spinoff, though in our defence we've been waiting ages for a beta. Luckily, Techno-Dann was up for the task, so we're proud to show you an introduction to their spinoff; as it's a non-mission writing, it's also technically for Cassie's challenge.

Well, their first published mission anyway. We've done three missions for them and we're working on a fourth; we just felt like doing that bit of backstory as well. I don't know if we'll do their chronological first mission or not, particularly since the mission in Suebusters takes place - again, speaking chronologically - not terribly long after that interlude. Sorry if I misunderstood, but thanks for the comment.
