Here's the thing: Sues and the like are above psychology and basic rules. That's how I see them, at least, so if there was one specifically designed for either of those or if one was sufficiently reality-distorting, they'd be able to affect those creatures anyways.
Then again, I have a somewhat more serious perspective on things, so I'm not exactly the best to be answering this.
Mary-Sues, and Gary Stues are typically hominid. If anyone has heard of the book "Expedition", or the speculative documentary Alien Planet, the aliens shown are likely to have a vastly different psychology, and therefore be immune to suvian glitter. These creatures would be useful to combat Sues, and by extent, badfic.
Or any other science. Though admittedly, it's fun to try to describe them and their abilities in ways that make scientific sense; there are a couple of essays floating around the wiki that attempt the very same. Good reading.
But anyway, my point is that Sues ultimately get their power from terrible writing, and nothing is immune to that.

I was assuming that a Sue would not have the foresight to attempt to charm sacks of methane with tentacals.
But they could make the sack of methane with tentacles a deadly monster if it isn't, or an easily defeated bad guy if it is a deadly monster. It doesn't matter what it is, a Sue can influence it.
A Sue's influence affects any entity within their story, or in the case of certain powerful Sues and Higher-order Sue-wraiths, even the Agents that try to kill them. A non-human psychology would hardly slow them down; in fact, since a large variety of non-humans are Sue Lust Objects, the Aura of Smooth might not even need to account for the difference.
As for foresight, you assume that most breeds of Sue would display any in the first place. They're incredibly reactionary creatures, and it's rare that one even plans to run away or plan an attack. Plus, like MAXinsanity said, exposure to any species or continuum could generate Sues affecting that continuum, that species, etcetera.
They develop quickly, because the Assassins kill so many of them. It's sort of like natural selection, if natural selection had a goal in mind that kept being interrupted by black-clad entities wielding sharp objects.
