So this is an idea that popped into my brain and I've discussed a couple of times on the IRC.
A support group for Agents recruited out of Badfic. Basically, a place to go talk about how well they've been doing at being good, solid characters with realistic characterization and personality, and get help with relapses.
I'm currently working on a new Agent Pair, both of whom are Badfic Recruits, and am going to be sending them to weekly meetings.
So if you've got an Agent or two who fits the bill, and would like them to get a mention, make note? Otherwise it'll just have to be a bunch of random folks.
Anyone have something that they specifically want their character to say/have had a problem with that week? Because, again, otherwise I'll just have to make something up.
…that they were in the service of the Big Bad?
Derik can be either dark and broody or affable and pleasant, though reserved. If the former, he's unlikely to talk much, but rather sit with his arms folded and just glower at everyone. He might be convinced to mutter something about how Sues are a parasite and need to be flamed out of the skies, and he might scoff at people who are queasy about killing. In better headspace, he still feels the same way about Sues, but he'll admit to being worried by those dark fits, and he would apologize for anything mean he might have said in previous meetings. He suspects that having been based on the Phantom of the Opera is responsible, and he might joke about needing to be packed off to FicPsych, pronto, if he ever starts talking in the third person.
Whether Ilraen is actually nominated to lead a meeting or not, he'll naturally fall to keeping order if necessary. He's generally friendly and will try to get along with everyone. He might inquire after Sedri to Iza, assuming he knows that they were partners--Sedri helped out on one of his and Nume's missions. His biggest concern these days is self-confidence. He's been doing his job long enough to feel like he ought to know what he's doing, but his latest big mistake has shaken him. He also worries about his partner, who still seems strange and unreachable even three years on, and is hitting the Bleepka more heavily than usual lately. Despite having been reassured that Nume is just like that, he is afraid that it's something about himself keeping Nume from confiding in him.

There are two ways you could go depending on the tone you want.
First and most basic is her antisocial behavior. She's cold and withdrawn for most of the time and has a very difficult time opening up to people.
The second route is more related to her origins as a Organization XIII member (from Kingdom Hearts). The Org has a certain... reputation for proclivity within the fan community. Let's just say there's a reason the fanbrats refer to it as 'Orgy XIII.' While most PPC agents don't believe it, there have been enough giggled comments and rumors to bother the normally stoic Nobody.
He's quite literally a blank slate; even I'm not sure how he's going to end up.
If it takes place in 2010, she'd be eight (unless it's after mid-September, when she'd be nine), but not a lot more mature than she is as of my current storyline (in which she's six) and not broken of the habit of chewing everything in sight up to and including people.
Most of the characters there are likely to be adults. If she comes along, she can bring Moses - he'll be two or three (he was born in September - Molly doesn't know her birthday so they celebrate the day she was rescued, which was the day before Moses was born) but likely won't be talking much yet, I intend to have him start speaking quite late.
I know Alyssa and Kian have... issues about people trying to touch Kian, or assuming he's a CAF of some sort. And Ethan... well, as I said, he backslides towards his TLJ personality too easily. So either of those could be mentioned?
If you use Iza (and I do suggest you ask Trojie first, since she's going to have to incorporate it into whatever mission she writes for Iza next), she can have been forced to kill a bit character again - she was moved back into Bad Slash because she couldn't handle murder, and gets queasy and very upset every time. The other option is to have her be having trouble with her own lack of personal history, but that's very complicated for a cameo appearance.
...she probably has a problem with crushing on Jack Harkness, or being too cheerful.
Jack is hyperactive and prone to sudden mood swings.
If you use Kestrel, have her lounge in her chair and, if asked to present a problem, say something along the lines of "Don't lookit me, mates, I'm jest 'ere fer the free drinkin' water." Caleb would probably glower at everyone and say that if one more agent who asks him "Team Jacob or Team Edward?" or utters the phrase "sparkly faggot" in his presence, he will drain them of bodily fluids.
As for Jack... I don't know, he's actually very happy with his station in life. If you do have him say something, he'd probably be whining about authors' tendencies to forget that Hunters don't have eyes, as this is one of his pet peeves. Or he'll be bouncing off the walls (literally) while Caleb tries to keep him from pouncing on people.
I think that this will be very helpful to the agents that came from badfic, so again, splendid...just splendid. After all, personalities are very good to have, and it can humanize (or at least, make people much more personalized) people as well.
Let's see...
Well, there's certainly Agent Iza, a Bajoran from the Trekverse who was recruited from a badslash fic but had absolutely no personality, meaning that she's in the process of figuring out who she is. Aside from very random mood swings, she tends to be very energetic and optimistic and exhausting to be around. However, I handed her over to Trojie (and Pads) a while ago, so you should probably ask her, but I see no reason why Iza wouldn't go do such a meeting. She'd probably end up running the place with a big grin on her face.
I'm also in the process of making a new agent, Agent Ketay, a Cardassian woman (also Trekverse). She probably wouldn't be interested in such a support group, though; she keeps too much to herself and is actually pretty stable for a recruit. If you like, feel free to mention her as having not come - maybe if you have someone taking a roll call or just asks someone whether they know if Ketay's coming.
Other than that, the only agent I've created is Sedri, and she's from the real world. Sorry.
That said, this sounds like a great deal of fun! I can't wait to read it. :D
Agent Kestrel was rescued from badfic, but she was a background character who never made an appearance, so I'm not sure if she'd count.
Two agents I haven't officially introduced yet would also qualify. Agent Jack is a Hunter from the Left 4 Dead universe, rendered sapient by accident in a badfic. He's completely blind, but gets around with smell and hearing. His partner, Caleb, may or may not qualify; he's a very surly vampire from Twilight.
Think Molly might have to come along? She might be a bit young for the meetings, but she was rescued from a badfic.
Orion, who was rescued from a Harry Potter badfic. At the moment his personality's still settling down, but it looks like he'll probably be a) slightly skittish around people he doesn't know, b) not up for Sue killing, which is why he'll eventually be ending up in Bad Slash with a new agent I'm currently working on, and c)will, once he gets to know people (basically, after two or three times of actually, y'know, talking to them), be quite happy to carry on a conversation with them and actually interact with them without someone telling him to.
Feel free to use him as you like.
Agent Ithalond was recruited out of "Celebrian." He was a semi-random throwaway Elf that had his hands cut off and got to witness the Celebrian-duplicate jerking off the goblin king. He is . . . severely traumatized.
I have a couple. Ilraen has adjusted well enough by now that he might conceivably be called upon to moderate such a meeting from time to time, though he'd be a little flustered and embarrassed to begin with. Nurse Jenni in FicPsych would absolutely put him up to it. Having some responsibility and dialogue with people other than his partner would be very good for him.
Derik, on the other hand, is a total basket case. He's moody, and often has abrupt mood swings to boot. He takes after his namesake Erik more than he realizes. Meetings like this might just keep him from totally flipping his lid.
Lemme know if you want more details.

One of my agents is called Toon (no last name.) She was an Unused Idea that fell through a Plot Hole in a Torchwood fic on top of my other agent, and got dragged back to HQ. She would have been a Sue if she ever actually made it to being a character.
Toon's incredibly hyperactive and cheery, as well as hopelessly optimistic. She shares traits with the milder Mary Sues.
Jane is from Middle-Earth. She's a Random Dwarf who was saved from a dragon by a Mary Sue. Because the badfic writer never mentioned it, Jane intermittently does and does not have a beard, and when she does have one, it tends to change in shape and style. She's total Generic Dwarf--brown hair, brown eyes, short, stocky. At this point she's been in the PPC for about a month, and the big technology gap is both confusing and fascinating to her. As a result she's constantly researching both the continua and the basics of science. May be seen carrying around all kinds of books, including everything from the complete Harry Potter series to sophisticated tomes like "A Child's First Book of Electricity". Still uses a universal translator but can speak some English, though it's heavily accented. Her personality has begun to show itself as inquisitive, hard-working, and orderly. She speaks (through the translator) in a somewhat formal manner, loves coffee, and carries a set of three throwing axes on a belt. She has read the PPC handbook cover-to-cover and still sometimes forgets that always going by the book can be a Bad Idea.
She picked the name "Jane Doe" because when she was dragged into FicPsych by a couple of agents who found her, she was heavily tranquilized and woke up to hear a nurse calling her by that name. She subsequently adopted it because it worked as well as any other.
Jane is in the Floaters department, partnered with a former PPC janitor named Jason. She would probably be attending the meeting because she is trying to figure out how the multiverse works and gathering all the information she can possibly get her hands on.
I've a couple of Agents who might be interested. It'd be a difference to their usual FicPsych stuff.
The first is Alyssa Tyniova, and her daemon Kian. They were recruited from the His Dark Materials-verse back in 2008. Their main problem is being mismatched; Alyssa's personality is very quiet and artistic, whilst Kian's form is that of an osprey, in canon a form matched with an explorer and soldier.
The other is Ethan Sinead, an ex-Token Lecherous Jerk recruited from a very messed-up Bleach fic back in 2005. His main issue is backsliding into his old personality far too easily.
Hope this helps!
You can use Kelok. He is a Stargate Atlantis Wraith, and was originally a Todd replacement character. He particularly fears lusting for humans and losing all ability to show emotions (things he was saddled with in his homefic). Also, letting his empathy for Holmes (another non-lusty character) endanger the mission or his partner (which happened in their first mission).
One of my Agents comes from a character sheet for an unwriten badfic. He has issues due to wondering round an empty Starship for a year.
You're welcome to use Xericka.
Natalie Green, Diana, the Knick of Time, Iratka, Amethyst, Anthony, and Danas.
