It's definitely okay to like a Suefic.

I'd like some objective opinions on whether or not the protagonist of this 'fic is a Sue, please.

It's definitely not mission-worthily bad, but sometimes the main character just makes me wonder, with her special non-canon powers, her eternal and pure love with Sirius Black, and how massively she changes everything with these special powers of hers. Also, how well she seems to get along with every character who isn't a borderline antagonist seems a little odd to me. Not to mention she doesn't have any immediately obvious flaws or imperfections.

I just wanted your opinions on this, please, guys - I read and really enjoyed this trilogy of fanfics ages ago. Heck, I still read it and enjoy it now. I just wondered whether or not you would consider the protagonist to be Sue-ish. If she is, I probably need to refine how I check for 'Sues, since she hasn't really set off any alarms in my head.

I'm not saying, specifically, that this is a Suefic; just that it's okay, in general, to like them. Personally, I do consider this protagonist to be somewhat of a Sue - definitely not worthy of sporking, and not completely a Sue, but possesses some Sueish traits. That doesn't necessarily mean that the fic itself is bad, however; the SPaG seems to be fine, as does the characterization (mostly). So, overall, I think the story itself is decent, but that the main character is a bit of a Sue.

I admit, I'm not far in, but while she does slightly come off as a bit 'sueish' it's hardly a crime (so far as I've seen). And if you still enjoy the fics, more power to you.

Though this personal opinion might change later as I continue reading; the way I see it, if you like it, then you like it. And should you decide that yes the character is a Sue, BUT, you still enjoy it? I say keep on enjoying it.
