I cannot help but marvel at the entire crew's total immunity to Suefluence.
We may be on to something big. If we can figure out the secret of their resistance, it could perhaps be incorporated in the PPC training program.

Since they seem unaware that she has any power over them personally, as opposed to over reality in general (she can alter reality to make it a fact that she was promoted, but she can't make Kirk kiss her), they may not be aware themselves of how they did it, so questioning them (with or without coercion) would be pointless. Perhaps positioning some sort of spy on the Enterprise to observe them more closely would be helpful.

It would have to be someone who knew Star Trek pretty well, and had enough self-control not to kill, maim or otherwise interfere with Sue before their observation time was up. There must be enough extras hanging around for them to blend in for a good long while, as long as they avoided getting into a situation where Sue adopted them as her best friend or some other acquaintance (e.g. boyfriend from the Academy who still pines for her and will at some point press his advances so she has to be saved by the man of her choice). While there is precedent for that (in TOS with Andromielle) and agents have their own immunity to the Sue-spell, it would also draw attention to the agent and he or she wouldn't have immunity to any attempts made by the canon characters to get rid of him or her as an adjunct to Sue.
Not sure who would be most suitable, though. Is there anyone in Intelligence who might be able (and willing) to do it as a one-shot mission? :) -

Hmm... If the Original Sue was a contemporary of James T. Kirk, shouldn't we have to travel forward in time instead of back? Besides, killing her is what started this whole nightmare in the first place, isn't it?

Only on a second read through. Up until that point I assumed I'd just forgotten what colour they were originally in between strips.
