Fair winds!
Now you can throw BBQs.
...is what I'd be saying if not for the fact that it is the seventeenth anniversary of the day I was born.
And, thanks to my high school's rigorous marching band program, I get to spend eight hours of it practicing! Joy.
Cake and goodie bags for all!
Have a special edition sonic screwdriver with a bag of jelly babies!
Well, here's some more joy... first day of school tomorrow for me. Oh the joy, joy, joy is in the air it reminds me of Christmas just like all the red and green in my spellcheck...
Hmm... I'm pretty sure I've already given you a scarf, and you've gotten a K-9.
So, I guess I'll give you a curly wig, model TARDIS, and another bag of jelly babies.
I loved marching band. I wasn't very good, but I loved it. With all that practice you all must be serious competitors at competitions!
Good luck for all of them that are coming up this year.
We practice... a lot. In summer band camp before school starts, it's eight hours a day on weekdays for one week, then ten hours the next week, and then when school starts we have four hour Tuesday rehearsals, the front ensemble percussion (of which I am a part) has three-hour Thursday rehearsals, and eight-hour Saturday rehearsals. And, of course, we practice during school band periods.
It's a tough schedule, but not for nothing. My school has been in a first-place winning streak for over a decade now.
Thanks!
Here, have a triple chocolate cupcake! (Chocolate with chocolate icing & chocolate chips) Enjoy!
Thanks for the goodie bags! Here's an oboe-care kit.
I play flute, but I refused to be in marching band, so I had to play all on my own during high school. :(
Fair winds!
Now you can throw BBQs.
What? You want presents?
Fine. Have a Random Object of Rassilon. (It's probably a fish. At least, it looks like one.)
Now you can prepare for any ending scenario!
Some plastique oh yeah you know you want it.
Have a zombie trumpet player (he doesn't quite have the lungs for it, but he's not too bad) and half a cup of tea. *cuts a teacup in half*
And have fun playing music (what instrument?)!
Well, for regular concert band I play the oboe, but for marching band I'm on synthesizer (sort of a fancy electric keyboard-thingy).
And lucky me, the teacher heard it was my birthday and let us out early.
Happy Birthday! Maybe you can get them to play the birthday song for you!
Hope the practice goes by quickly.
Have some virtual cookies. :)
I hereby present you with a sack of pebbles, your very own customised sling to throw them with, and a basket of home-grown Bleeprin-berries - delicious and good for you!
Hope things go awesomely for you today and in the next year!
