I would've liked a bit more closure at the end, other than "and then, leaving no lasting traces, she went back to HQ," not to mention knowing what Ian and the newbie got up to. But maybe you have that planned for next time? If so, I'll look forward to it!
Anyway, it was neat getting a look at Lee's world, and your writing is generally clear and easy to read. Kudos!

Rather shocking, but very interesting!
Out of curiosity, is the world where Lee has ended up from an established fiction, or did you create it?
More specifically, the one my NaNo for this year is going to be set in. It's a preternatural crime drama.
I like it a lot. I'll be very interested to see where it goes.
