It's okay. I understand where you're coming from, because that is how the word started out, but it's turned into such a blanket term that most people will twitch. However, I get that you didn't mean it like that.
I think I might claim the Bloody Tears one. That is, unless someone else wants it.
Someone get a Belmont in here, I've had enough of silly vampire romances. Especially badfic vampire romances.
I would expect badfic of people who have only watched Those Glaurunging Movies, but how can anyone have read The Silmarillion and still write stuff like that?
I mean, Maeglin is obsessed with Idril and envious of Tuor. That's a huge part of his character motivation. Take that away, and what do you have? Someone who's very OOC, that's what.

You would think that reading the Silmarillion would be quite an exercise- enough to require a brain larger than a badfic writer's- but no, no matter how insane or how important or sacred or whatever, it still just comes back like a weed, like for every head you kill on the Lernaen Hydra, two more spring up...

Weeaboo Twilight fans. A little but of sick just came into my mouth.

Well, it's not that suprising to me. Most Weeaboos and Twilight Fans have a lot in common-- the inexperienced, short-sighted mindset, the want for something 'better' than they already have, an escapist mentality, and the ability to be very, very easily impressed.
The difference is that Twilight hits these behavioral types in groups that normally would never discover Anime or be drawn to it-- Weeaboos carry a socially awkward connotation, while Twilight is mainstream enough to touch nearly the same areas that Weeaboos idealize WITHOUT the person being labeled a dork.
(This does not save Twilight fans from generally looking stupid, though. The expanded area of appeal of Twilight is actually a scary concept-- it shows us that far more than 'losers' carry this 'loser' behavior.)
Really, there's very litle difference between the two demographics, save social 'acceptability'. Being rabid over a bitter yet quirky dog youkai with cool demon powers that is rude and shuns all attempts at a civil relationship, yet obviously is devoted to the heroine to almost stupid ends. Same dish, different restaurant. And folks certainly can frequent the dollar-menu of both. D:
Do you think we could possibly avoid using terms that have devolved into blanket insults for anyone who enjoys any part in a perfectly valid form of media? Unless the PPC is suddenly the Protectors of the Western Plot Continuum.

Sorry, I didn't mean to be offensive. Where I exist, weeaboo is used primarily to mean a teenybopper-type anime fan. People can be fans of anime without being weeaboos.
I guess the real moral of the story is that stupidity can be applied to anything. And people who are inclined to goofy behavior can be found in every niche. If anything, calling a blanket of goofy people in the anime genre 'weaboos' is kind of silly because in essence they're the same group as the goofy people who like badlit. No matter what social seperations others pen them into, or what stigmas some of those pens carry or cast onto other, more sane fans.
And now I am just backpedaling like a fail who fails at recognizing how she fails at not offending people on the internet like a fail.
