I went. It was amazing. (Also, it was my first con. I am happy.)
ThisBoarder wants to know if any other PPCers were there. If so, what'd ya think? -
Wait, there's another Connecticut Boarder? by

Excellent! No, I did not go to Connecticon; couldn't get time off from work, was busy, and am busy saving for Seattle Gathering, because I have been
threatenedadvised not to sleep under bridges.
But how was it? New Haven this year, right? Any cool people about? -

It was pretty bloody awesome.
I heard there was a Beaker, too, but I didn't see him... And someone cosplaying as Soul got me watching Soul Eater. Nospoilerspl0x.
My friend was GLaDOS, and someone else was the Companion Cube (they took a picture together). I didn't cosplay, though I wanted to--no time, no resources, yeah. Maybe next year I'll do something simple, like a No-Face. -

And he was wearing a clock with "RAPE" where all the numbers should have been. I would have been disturbed if it hadn't been funny.
There was some other stuff, too, that I can't really remember well--the whole con was so epic that specific details sort of got lost in the general epicness. If that makes any sense at all. It probably doesn't. -
Hah, you think that's creepy? by

I went to an anime con, and there was a guy prancing about dressed as Pedobear with a big sign reading "FREE HUGS".
I didn't hug him. Others did.
I did hug the "Sad Catboy Needs Hugs" guy, though, and I hugged the Edward Elric cosplayer with the "Anti-Sparkle Brigade" armband.
Yes. Oddly, she was taller than me.
