HAPPY CANADA DAY (belated)
Those fireworks were cool, although I thought it sad that the highest rated comment on the movie was:
"the us military should get firework/bomb/rockets and shoot them at terrorists to show them not to mess with americans (or anybody else as a matter of fact) "
Gosh, it's almost like listening to a Mary-Sue! Sigh. If only life were as simple as that.
Fireworks wouldn't do any damage anyway! Mah! -

I bet this is one of the more popular holidays for DOGA. Oh, and the Mythbusters team. -

Rather fitting for July to be posting this. XD
(Anyways, I'm surprised the Brits haven't posted Happy Treason Day or something like that. Heh.) -

As much as I'd love to launch some, real fireworks are not allowed where I am. So I shall launch internet fireworks instead. Come join me!

This holiday doesn't make us ridiculously busy! No sappy, OOC and/or badslash fluff to deal with like Christmas and Valentine's Day (and, to a lesser extent, Hallowe'en and St. Pattie's Day).

Vixenmage, you are made of win just for posting that video.
And on topic... BOOM!
Eurgh. It's ninety degrees, humid, and I can't go swimming for a few days... >.> Take the converse of the end of the Lumberjack Song, and you have my sentiments right about now.
(For those poor souls not indoctrinated into the Cult of Python, the phrase I refer to is "I wish I'd been a girly, just like my dear mamar!") -

I found out they were playing on Tuesday (concert was Wednesday). Bought a ticket within a minute of finding out. Fortunately it was a standing-only venue so there was no such thing as bad seats.
