Other sporking societies by

I'm just curious what the PPC view is towards these other organizations. Do they exist in the same continua as the PPC and the Word World? Would it be possible for a PPC agent to encounter an agent of one of these other societies in the field? What about an alliance between one or more sporking societies?
Or, alternatively, do we simply ignore them and pretend they don't exist? -
What are these other sporking societies, again? (nm) by

Lots of the canons we protect have conflicting details; I guess that the other organizations could theoretically exist as separate Word Worlds. I don't think it makes a fic count as killed if a non-PPC group sporked it, though (although that would get Naga Eyes out of our hair).

The Official Fanfiction Universities are, generally speaking - Jay and Acacia had a little holiday over at OFUM, and the PPC was at least mentioned in Miss Cam's work, so that's definitely part of our universe, but there are some that are incompatible, so I think those are generally ignored. To each their own.

OFUs don't spork, though. by

At least, I don't think they do... I'm talking about the ACMSES, and stuff like those. Some might have conflicting "canon", but since ninety percent of accepted Sueology is theory anyway, I don't really see how that matters...

I suppose I was thinking more of metafics that deal with bad writing and such. So to answer your actual question... well, same answer, really: It's hard to write connected stories when there are inherent contradictions, so most of the time it's live and let live. At least as far as I know.
As I recall, we did get in touch with another Sue-sporking community a few months ago, but not much came of it other than:
"Hi!"
"Hi!"
"I see you mock bad writing - so do we!"
"Greetings, comrade! Feel free to come talk to us whenever you like!"
"Will do. Same to you!"
And that was about it. -

In the Redwall section of the Pit, there are a few writers who write "Suebashers", where their Author Avatar goes in and takes down a usually ridiculously over-the-top Sue. More often then not, we make crossovers in which our Avatars interact and collaborate. It's all good fun. Personally, I'm making it so that my "Sueslayer" is aware of the PPC and often interacts with my agents, but I think it's really up to the sporker. Remember, we operate under the Rule of Cool and the Rule of Funny.
