Subject: Maybe it's mostly due to the Bleeprin?

You know how if you're in a ridiculous amount of pain, and then the pain stops, you feel happy and euphoric for a good half hour? (If you haven't, I envy you. But it's similar to a runner's high, which most people probably have experienced.) Has to do with the way your body pumps out endorphins to try to deal with it.

Well, what if agents respond similarly to badfic? And then, when the bleeprin removes the badfic effects, you're left with the euphoria of your brain putting out a buncha chemicals to try to help you cope. It's like a high out of sheer relief. I mean, why else are half our agents psychologically addicted to Bleeprin? It's not physically addictive; but you sure do become dependent, if you're exposed to enough badfic.

It mightn't be so much the fake alcohol, but the knowledge that you're going to feel better, and the sudden removal of badfic effects. And, anyway, people can get "drunk" just thinking they're drinking alcohol, when they actually aren't.

Just throwing that out there.
