I'm surprised there hasn't been a Doctor Who OFU already. Thanks for filling the gap and supplying something that the fandom greatly needs.

I'm writing a Doctor Who Fanfiction University.

Is it alright? I've still got four more prologues to go, then I'll put up the first chapter.
…so where would be the best place to give relevant data on his native 'verse (genre, complete breakdown of missing Hartnell and Troughton episodes and B&W Pertwee episodes as of when he signs up, etc.), as well as which binders he has on him when he boards the TARDIS?

…strangely missing from the form:
Do you have any favorite characters?
Appearance:
Have you been to an OFU before?
Though I only added in appearance and personality. (Which reminds me, if you want a picture of Lyra, I can supply one. -grins-)

Does one need to register to be able to read the GFU? All I can see when I click your link is introductions, and no way to actually get to the first prologue (nothing clickable showing when I hover).
Scroll over the Gallifrey Fanfiction U option at the top and you'll get a drop down that lets you choose prologue. Took me a while to figure out as well.
Which reminds me, it might be better to link the prologues to the word prologue on the page. It makes it less confusing.

When I tried earlier, I did get a sort of drop down menu, but there was a gap between the menu and Gallifrey Fanfiction U (caused by that frase not being on a single line). As a result of which the drop down menu disappeared when I tried to get to it.
I agree that it prologues should be linked under prologues. it's more intuitive.
I have always wanted an OFU for Doctor Who! How do you apply? I want to jump on this bandwagon ASAP!
(I mean, after filling out the form in Samantha's prolouge, where do you put it?)
I have a guestbook. You could try that.
*feels stupid*
Don't feel too bad. I mean, this is my first Fanfiction University. I'm really worried and nervous that it might go the way of other universities, all abandoned and no one taking care of it. I don't want that to happen, really. It scares me.
Seriously, don't be worried. The OFUs I've read, although unfinished, are still the best things I've read in a while. Yours seems to be following that trend. (of the best ever, I mean, not the unfinished.)
Oh, hey, question- would you like to use my PPC agents that I'm going to be writing in my main missions once I get Permission? I'd be more than happy for them to be background characters/ NPCs for you. That is, if that's okay with the Permission Givers, etc. I get to ask for Permission next week, so hopefully it won't cause too much trouble...
If I can be able to keep them in character, yeah, that would be awesome!
I've started watching the new series of Who (and Torchwood, for that matter) recently, and thinking eventually might start doing Who missions.
Would I be able to send one/some of my agents to GFU as a "learning experience"? I think there's vague precedent for this (e.g. Agent Laburnum went to the Redwall OFU, although maybe that was before joining the PPC?).
It would mean having a character with very little canon knowledge (I've watched a few episodes and read some of the novelisations, so I have a vague knowledge of some of the earlier series), but also little fanboyish tendencies.

Sure, go ahead! I've already got plans for Samantha to become a PPC Agent.
I'll need your contact info to send you my Agents' profiles, though.
I can send you their basic info, if you'd like.
I could be mistaken, but as far as I know you still need Miss Cam's permission to write an OFUM spin-off, and you don't mention having it. Her e-mail is camilla.sandman@gmail.com.

I actually e-mailed her about it. She said it was alright.
Good to hear that all's in order :)
I like it. As a quick aside, I think freewebs might only let you have 20 pages, though I can't remember for certain.
Anyway, I'm curious as to how you'll structure your OFU. Will all eleven incarnations of the doctor be there? -grins- That would be quite fun.
Good luck, and I look forward to reading more!

Oh, yes, all eleven of them will be there.
And I look forward to seeing you!
I've got a guestbook. You could apply through there.
It's in Samantha's prologue.
