It has finally arrived. My first mission is officially up.
Warcraft Epic - Part one
Warcraft Epic - Part Two
Have fun.
-Barid
Very nice, I'd really like to see more of these two, as they have an interesting chemistry together.
Glad you enjoyed it.
Barid and Brightbeard have a chemistry born of generations of blind racial hatred. It's kinda magic.

I tried my hardest to make it accessible to everyone. In fact, only one of my beta's has any real knowledge of the extensive history in the Warcraft Universe.
(Dreaming of Colors, forgive me if you're not a she.)
I really like the way you write the accents. I'm normally not a fan of writing accents, but you do it very well, and the interaction between the two was great fun.

p.s. I use firefox, and I didn't notice any weird formatting.
I find the key to writing an accent is to say it is thick but write it as slight. Keep it simple. Pick a few things that set the accent apart from most other accents and use them. The audience can either fill in the rest of ignore it all together.
Neshomeh, in an effort to make it easier to stay consistent, has devised a cheat sheet for Barid and Brightbeard's accent. It is very helpful.
I like it; your agents are interesting. A continent made out of humans and elves, turning an entire race into Designated Misogynist Bastards, and a Sue who can't figure out her own species... Fun times.
I don't play WoW, but I'm guessing your agents are using some common abilities from that continuum to take care of the sue, right?
Seems you're having some formatting issues, though; you've got randomly bolded phrases in your mission report. I'm using Firefox, if that helps you any.
Having looked at it, I can't find anything that is bold that shouldn't be. Could you give me an example of random bolding?
In this paragraph:
On the other side of the door was a Response Center. The occupants of this RC obviously had issues with sharing. They had divided the small room with a line of permanent marker.
For me, this part is bolded:

I don't know; could be a Firefox issue. Can somebody also using Firefox check to see if it's happening for them too? It doesn't happen for me when I use IE.
If it's just a browser issue, though, it probably isn't your fault and can't be fixed. LJ does funny and annoying things sometimes.
My agents are using abilities that are common to their Class. Barid is a Priest and Brightbeard is a Paladin. I made sure that I did the research into their abilities by actually playing the classes in-game.
And thanks for letting me know about the formatting. I had a hard time getting it right on Livelournal.
