I wait twenty minutes to see if it was likely to stay down and it goes up not ten minutes after I do the post.

Mibbit, one of the easy ways to access the IRC chatroom seems to be down right now (usually accessible through here) as of 9:30AM UST/GMT-6.
The chatroom can still be accessed through this CGIIRC browser thing which tends to run on the slow side, the chatzilla add-on for firefox and various other things.
Just saying this here so that anyone trying to connect don't worry that it is their computer at fault or whatever and to give alternate ways to access the chatroom. -
