I must admit, I've never actually read any Tamora Pierce books, but that was a highly entertaining PPC nonetheless. Good job slaying another evil 'Sue.

That was a bad fic. I don't know how you two survived PPCing it. I would have run away screaming and burning things, or I would have ended up laughing madly for hours. That prophesy was utterly ridiculous. (Why do Suethors have to have a prophesy for everything the characters majorly do?) I had to stifle my laughter for about five minutes straight in order to get myself under control. Overall, it was a very funny and enjoyable mission. You did a good job, you two.

Spoilers for Squire ahead!

I only have one nitpick (because I'm currently rereading Squire at the moment) and that is that Kel did meet Alanna before she was knighted. Kel saw Alanna for the first time during that scene in Squire with the Yamani women playing with the red fan (when Neal almost cut his fingers off by barging into the game). She met Alanna for the first time when Alanna was dinner partners with Raoul at that certain banquet where Kel dropped the finger bowl and spilled water all over Alanna and Raoul's clothing. Kel and Alanna spoke of some things concerning Kel's training and her griffin. So Alanna met Kel outside of public functions once Kel was knighted, yes, but Kel did speak to Alanna as a squire.
