Thanks for the fanmix. Pretty cool stuff there, some of which I'd never heard.

Finally. Sheesh. Hopefully this can serve as inspiration to the remaining March Madness contenders. {= )

Comes with cover art (high-res, in case anyone actually wants to burn a CD) and a track list, but I warn you, reading the track list will spoil the surprise of the bonus tracks. It is my wish that you do not do this if you can possibly avoid it, and don't tell anyone what they are after you find out, either. It's just more fun that way--and they ARE fun and quite safe for work and brain, I promise. {= )
Feedback is appreciated, as always!

...but what's a fanmix?
But I digress.
It's pretty much what it sounds like: a mix, being a collection of songs from various sources, compiled by a fan. Mixes can have themes, or they can just be random songs the compiler likes. In this case, as a PPC fanmix, each song is relevant to or suggests some aspect of PPC life, as defined in the track list. And, of course, I also like the songs, or I wouldn't have used them. {= )

Oh, I see; thank you. You are a boon to the newbies.
Lots of good songs on this one. Watchmen, Halo, Monty Python, Dr. Mario...My guesses as to the bonus tracks were way off, but probably better than what i thought they were...

What I can get of it is beyond entertaining, and quickly wearing a track into my brain. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. :D Number seven, in particular, is probably one of my new favorite songs and perfect for the subject matter, I think.
Now if I could figure out how to get sound out of the things that are .wma and .m4a, life would be perfect. One wonders if the tech-types around the Board might have input on the subject?
Playing them in Winamp, which is what I use. It's a free download, and it plays just about everything.
That said... did you actually download the tracks? Because I know Box won't let you just play the .wmas and .m4as, and there is, sadly, nothing I can do about that.
Anyway, thanks! And yeah, Bear McCreary's version of "All Along the Watchtower" kicks some serious ass. I couldn't resist putting it in, even though July had used it in her mix.

Did try downloading, but got a page full of gibberish in TextEdit....
well, some creative prodding and downloading later, I've managed to get QuickTime to accept things.
Ah, the joys of using a Mac in a world full of PCs. :P
That said, the mix is even more glorious now that I can get the whole thing to sort of cooperate. Thanks again. ^^
The best thing you can do is probably to download a file converter. I have the Switch Sound File Converter, but I think iTunes does this as well.
That's what I would do, anyways.
