It is ever so nice to meet you. I give you a towel and hope that you will always know where it is.
Hello, I'm new here. I saw a couple stories about something called a PPC and, being curious to the point of requiring lots of brain bleach on a daily basis, I decided to look it up, and I think this is a really great idea.
I'm glad this place exists; I've seen quite a few dreadful fanfic sues that really, really, really deserve to be slaughtered. While I don't write much fanfic myself (I occasionally write some ridiculously cracky stuff, but not very often), I read a lot in Watchmen, Hellsing (though most of it is depressingly bad), Sherlock Holmes, and a couple of other fandoms I can't think of at the moment. I can't wait to maybe write some of my own stories here, so I'll be seeing you around.
Nice to meet you all. ^-^
*pokes with determination*
There! ^___^ Also, please accept this bumper sticker. *sticks on bumper sticker reading "If you can read this, my partner is in range to shoot you through the eye."*
Welcome!
~Neshomeh
Have a 17 foot long, multi-color, wool, knit scarf (curly wi not included).
Definitely check out the original missions. I just finished the last one today, and I laughed for at least 20 minutes straight.
Hello and welcome! Have some chocolate, and enjoy your stay!
*poke* Welcome to the PPC!
A Sherlock Holmes fan? *can't believe it* GREAT!
Have a hug! *hugs*
And again, welcome. Here's your first ration of Bleeprin, and may the Sues tremble when you come to defend Canon.
Sail on!
Another Sherlock Holmes fan! :D
*gives a violin*
It's one of my stock gifts now, it should serve you well.
Good to meet another newbie =D I don't know any of your fandoms very well, so have an albatross *Gives* His name's Graham :)
Welcome! I offer you this sparkly rock (pickax not included). Hope you stay with us for a while and enjoy yourself while you do.

p.s. I would advise against reading the legendary badfic. I suppose if you can somehow manage to see the humour in them it's fine, but they tend to be worse than they sound, and they sound bad. At least, to me they do. Then again, I have issues with graphic smut, so it may be easier for you, depending on your level of tolerance. Good luck if you do choose to read them!
Hello. I hope you enjoy it here.
...The others will ask about depositing your sanity somewhere, I advise you to not put it in there at any cost.
I won't come looking for it if you do anyways.
Have a softnose laser and a target in the shape of Stephanie Meyer's head. Enjoy!
I don't know about you, but I would love to see what would happen if Alucard was unleashed on Edward Cullen... BUT I DIGRESS. Welcome to the Board! Please deposit your sanity in the provided receptacle. *indicates bucket marked "Warg Fodder"* You shan't need it here. Also, have some coconuts. There's at least a lovely bunch or two there.
Thanks, everyone! It's nice to meet you all!
Thank you especially for the links- I've almost finished reading all of the original stories, but the badfics look wonderfully entertaining in a masochistic sort of way. Good thing the internet has made me (mostly) immune to disturbing fanfics. I'll definitely check out the other sites, too.
I comes bearing links. *drags out Big Bag O' Links and digs through it*
First off is the link to the Wiki, a veritable fount of information for a newbie to read through. Especially helpful for you if you want to write missions would be the page on Permission (note the capital P).
I would advise against reading any Legendary Badfic, unless you are of strong mind and stomach. Even the summaries have been known to give those of weaker constitution nightmares.
For your reading pleasure, not knowing what you have already managed to find, I have several links for you. The Original Series (not to be confused with Star Trek) is a good place to start, as the PPC did many aeons ago. What do you mean I'm exaggerating? The Department of Geographical Aberrations is another interesting place to visit, if you have the time and inclination. Also by hS is the Tangled Webs site, which contains backstory for the PPC as an organisation. If you would rather visit the Floaters, then July's site is the place you need to be. And last, but most definitely not least, Response Centre 45 is where Trojie and Pads' missions are archived.
Hope you enjoy your stay here. Please deposit your sanity into the container offered to you by another Boarder; you won't be needing it here.
Good to see another Sherlock Holmes fan! I like your username, too.
Now, help yourself to your favorite venomous arthropod!
It is ever so nice to meet you. I give you a towel and hope that you will always know where it is.
Welcome to the PPC! Here's a dagger set from the Raven Amory and a bottle of bleeprin! I don't know any of your fandoms very well, but perhaps I'll look more into them this weekend. (I'm completely snowed in at the moment, so I'm going to be bored to tears real fast if I don't write and read a lot.)
