In which Trojie and Sedri run around Dunedin re-enacting Star Trek-related moments, flailing at rocks and doing a lot of laughing.
I have to tell you, Sedri: I've lived with a geologist, so I know what it's like to take them places and listen to much description of random (and not-so-random) rocks. In a museum, we always spent the most time in the gems and minerals section.
And I relate all this with the utmost affection.
... I got home from my work (geology-based) and found three male geologists in my bed. So I got in too and we all talked about gold mineralisation!
... the disturbing thing is that THAT STORY IS TRUUUUUUE.
But if it wasn't, that would be the best euphemism ever.
... 'we talked about gold mineralisation, nudge nudge wink wink?'
MWAHAHA.
I must confess, I burst out laughing upon seeing "Shag Point" on the plesiosaur exhibit picture.
Oh god, City of Ashes... I started it, but just could not make it through. I've never really liked the VSDs either.
I didn't know that was the guy from Princess Diaries 2! Not that I've, uh, seen it or anything. <_>
I've got to go somewhere that has Gatherings.
Taken lightly, it isn't bad; I rather like his character, espcially one deleted scene where he's play-acting.
As for places with Gatherings, there are only three PPCers in my country - it was just luck that Trojie was visiting this island.
