One hundred and twelve thousand words, fourteen months worth of free time, and it's DONE! :D!
It's called The Grand Vizier of Oz and is a musicalverse AU. There are twenty chapters, starting here, in case any of you are interested in reading it.
I'm just so HAPPY; had to share it. :D

I just found out about this fic today.
Now I'm more than halfway through it, and don't intend on leaving my chair 'till I'm all done.
Such a good holiday present for all of us Wicked fans. ^^
It took me over a day to re-read it myself! And the chapters get progressively longer. That said, I hope you enjoy it, even if you do have to leave your chair at some point ;)

It was soooo worth it.
I absolutely love how you portrayed the [s]Thropp family[/s] [s]Fiy-Glin-Elph[/s] - ALL of the relationships. I do like that last sequence with the Wizard, Elphaba, and Fiyero, in particular.
Maybe you should send that to Maguire or wossname... Idina or somebody like that. It's so very awesome.

(Oo, no, I'm not sending it to Maguire; he seems to be far too fond of dark themes to like it. And Idina's not really involved anymore. But the sentiment is much appreciated!)
Excellent work. As much as I love Wicked, it's nice to see a happy ending for everyone, more or less. I almost wish this was how the story really went, but then, we wouldn't have a good muscial, would we?
