The other day I sent a PM to one of the One Piece betas on the pit but I haven't gotten a response yet, probably because he has a lot on his plate already. Should I wait for him to respond or should I go ahead and find someone else?

if they do respond, just tell them thanks but you've already got someone. It's not a big deal as long as you're polite about it.
