I don't live in Michigan now, but my fiance and I did until a few months ago. We're in Chicago now. Perhaps there are enough of us in this general Northern Midwest area to try for a Gathering sometime.

That does it. There must be a Midwest Gathering at some point in the future. The warmer months seem to be traditional. Probably has to do with the fact that most people are more able to travel in summer. >.>

We are the more common subspecies of Michigander--I think the term is Trolls, though I've seen Wombats ('cause we're "down under" the Mackinac Bridge, I guess). We are carless in Ravenswood, but if you'd like to come hang out in the city sometime, that would be cool. With any luck we can get former Boarder Tungsten_Monk to come, too. {= )
