I've kind of got a severe lack of confidence and didn't think I would actually write enough to bother. Turns out, I was relatively justified (I've only finished one mission) but that'll probably change once the antidepressants start working... and that was probably more information than you wanted.
The PPC was formed.
What follows in that link is a random Marine with an OOC Spartan and a just as OOC Doctor.
Not only did the writing style, grammar, and punctuation (or lack thereof) send my mind for a loop trying to figure out exactly what was going on, but the OOC Spartan (who happens to be one of my favorites, mind) and Doctor makes me want to stab a sharp object in to someone's eye. And I'm not a great judge of this (not yet anyway), but I think someone in this story is a Sue. I just haven't figured out who.
If I ever get Permission, which I sincerely hope I do, I would love to do a PPC mission of this.
Some fic just makes you want to hide in a corner...or strangle something. Or both!
I have two kill lists, one for sporking and one for PPC if I get permission. Sadly no matter how much sporking I do the first list seems to get longer...
You're seeking permission, too? Well, I guess you'll get it sooner than I will :)
I'm one of them, too.
No reason why not, I think, if you're planning to apply for Permission in a month. Most of us take a long time to get around to things that are already on our kill lists, anyway.
I do plan on applying for Permission. The problem is waiting for that whole month... *sets clock and stares at it*
Of course, I was on the Board a year before I bothered to get Permission, so maybe I shouldn't be talking.
I won't worry. Besides, I've got ODST to keep me occupied.
And my co-author yelling at me to write more of my story.

Done that. I just got off a seven-month course of drugs that caused me to become super-depressed, so they're just now starting to wear off.
I actually had a lack of confidence until I started having people read my stuff. I've gotten good reviews, so far.
