I didn't mean to post that...
I'm serious. The fandom's full of it. It's all over the place: in the Holy Musical B@man category, and in the Starship category, on FFN, and probably in other places, too, though I haven't had the heart to check. Seriously, when this is only the first of many similar ones that I found with no effort whatsoever...it really needs it. I mean, who writes this idiocy? If you're going to write RPF, at least write a polite disclaimer mentioning that these aren't fictional characters and you don't mean any offense to them, pay attention to what you can glean about their personalities from interviews and so on, don't make them into cliches, and, for goodness' sake, check your spelling and grammar and put some effort into your plot! Ugh.
So...we really don't take RPF on anymore? Also, could someone explain to me why we stopped? The wiki doesn't actually explain that, and I'm curious. I know there was a thread that touched on this not so long ago, but I don't remember a full explanation being provided. If there was one, and I missed it, feel free to just link me to the thread instead of wasting time re-explaining it.
This sort of thing just makes me sick. Seriously? They don't read like the Starkids. They don't even read much like any of the characters they play, except possibly for some of the ones in Little White Lie. They read like cliches, in a very badly written fic. And it just keeps on happening. So, if I can take on at least one of these, I'd feel a lot better.
Like I said: explanation, please?

Because I'm imagining the "Wonderblots" to be a flock of ink-covered mini-Discords flying around smearing themselves on important paperwork, and it is hilarious.
Well, I'll add that to the list of things I never knew.
I'll just add these to the Unclaimed Badfic list, shall I? Along with the ones from the last badfic thread?
Also, that last one...ugh. Why do I get the feeling that the 'pinch of humor' is a very, very, very small one? I'm not sure I even want to try that link...

He's this dude:
I was going to post a picture of Spike, but the only ones I could find were absolutely gigantic when put into a Board post. Good job finding one that you don't have to scroll to see in its entirety.
I could have sworn Google Image search had a size limiter function, but I couldn't find it.
I may have just tried to picture Spike the blond vampire as a little dragon...I'm not sure if my brain just broke or if the image was just hilarious. Either way, I'm not sure I want to see the expression on my face.

I mean, I watched one or two episodes with my friend, but that's about it.

If you are caught by the real person, they may be able to sue you in court for defamation. I don't think PPC covers for that. Let the RPF writers gain a taste of some strong medicine when the law gets to them.
It just upsets me, because the Starkids are great people. And, well, this is just ridiculous and disrespectful.
Oh, if only...if only...but I doubt the real people have the time to sue every single person who writes fanfic about them. Oh well.

We don't do RPF anymore because it's apparently extremely difficult/impossible to write real people in character, as they're changing constantly or something along those lines.
As in, less than a week ago. You can find the explanation in this comment and Neshomeh's reply to that comment.

Whoops. I didn't realize the previous thread was still on the first page--I think mainly because there are some long and confusing threads above it, and because I didn't remember what it had been titled.

I shall now drop the subject :) Beyond possibly the occasional rant about bad RPF about Starkids, of course, because it's really pretty terrible.
