I know Pern and the PPC reasonably well, though I'm not familiar in the slightest with Phantom of the Opera or Dragonlance.

Yes, I have actually finished something! I'm afraid it's a bit of a monster, being 341/2 pages in OpenOffice, but it's broken into five reasonably-sized parts: Prologue, Epidemic, Interlude, Invasion, and Epilogue.
So, I need at least one person, preferably two, to tackle the lot and do SPaG and a general review of continuity, accuracy, timing, characterization, etc. I'll also take as many as want to look at just one or two parts, since there's so much. Knowledge of the events of the 2008 Macrovirus Epidemic and Mary-Sue Invasion is good but not required. Knowledge of various canons, including Pern, Phantom of the Opera, and Dragonlance, is also good but not required. Knowledge of the PPC in general is a must.

I know what happened in the 2008 Epidemic and Invasion, and I'm very well up on the PPC. :P I have a passing familiarity with some of the canons you named, too.
So I can invite you to that. cassie (dot) dramateacher (at) yahoo (dot) co (dot) uk?

Oo yeah, I need to get on with that, don't I?
Technically it was gmail that made the doc. It has an option to open Word documents as gdocs. Damned handy, though a shame it can't do it the other way round too.
I'll give it a look, if you like.
It seems like you do the beta-reading for half the PPC these days. I don't know how you manage it, but it is much appreciated.

Ah, well, at the moment I'm an English graduate. This means I'm on the dole. This means the only demands on my time are a) signing a bit of paper once a fortnight and b) getting drunk. Leaves plenty of time for betaing.
