Calling for volunteer reporters for the inside pages! by

I'd like to mess with designing an entire magazine, so I'm calling for some help with providing the contents of such.
As you can tell from the cover there are four stories, and they all take us to a bit past 14 pages. Then there's gotta be someone on page three (my mental-image castlist for my Agents are Grace Park for Christianne and Evangeline Lilly for Eledhwen, so that might not be an issue if others don't want to volunteer), possibly a Lust Object page as well, some advertising, and a page that gives people a brief on what's been happening at the PPC (sorta like the "Briefing" page of TIME and stuff).
I'm supposing stories will take about two pages each, complete with columns and stylishness and pictures and quotes and stuff.
If there's anyone out there with time to burn and a finger itching to write journalistically for a change, please let me know. -

Give me your email if you're already providing or interested in providing any of these pages. I don't think Permission is required for stuff like letters to the editor and advertisements, although I'd like to take care of the visuals myself. -

…about those rumors of the Son of Slorp.
"Several agents were seen chasing something vaguely meatloaf-ish with butterfly nets…"
Also, I'll volunteer Spock as LO of the month. Nimoy!Spock, because he's been a Lust Object since the Sixties. -
I think we've got Madoka for that... by

Changing it to just Canon of the month though.
And yes, that'd be good. :'D -

Since we are going to need some more stuff to fill the in-between pages, I might do some short articles.
Maybe something about Madoka, considering that 1) She's the newest addition to canon deities that know about the PPC and 2) All Magical Girl Agents (and some who aren't) are likely to be worshipping her by now.
Or maybe some guide for Agents about something like choosing their own weapon for Sue slaying, or a list of recommended equipment, or something else like that. -
I need your email if you're contributing, thanks! (nm) by

It's stginelli snaillikethingy Google's email point commercial.
(Should fool those pesky spambots written this way. I wrote it differently in the Beta Reader list, though, if you have trouble deciphering it.) -
We could do a spread on Madoka as Canon Character of the iss by

There'd be a picture, a short article on her background and how she relates to the PPC, and how to interact with her on missions if necessary.
And the weapons thing sounds fabulous. If we could have q chart of poisons and their effects or the most effective way to use x weapon that would be great and so informative. -
Can I add on to that weapons list? by

It sounds like fun!
Oh and do you want the finished news bites/ads as a GDoc or a .docx file? -
We could make a master gdoc file. by
on 2013-04-18 00:23:00 UTC

Since I'm making the pages roughly the same size as that cover, the actual articles won't be very readable on there.
We'd then link to the gdocs as a sort of transcript.
Hopefully if this goes well we can make a bigger, actually-readable version of the magazine (because I was just going to do a cover, so I made it small, and etc.) -

After all, the original Multiverse Monitor (single-sheet newsletter) got restarted as Starwind's (tabloid)... I think it would be fantastic for someone/s to restart it again as a magazine.
(No, this is not me volunteering. Swoowy)
(Oh, and Page 3 is a tabloid thing; you don't necessarily have to keep it, or keep it the same. Why not a Photo Of The [Time Period] instead, with pictures 'taken in' the canons or HQ by agents? Seems more magaziney. Up to you, of course)

There's a page on Cluedo's rules and such that accompanies the Dethroning the Dalek article, and since you're developing gameplay for that it'd be great if you could provide that bit.
-
Sure, I can do that. by

It's kind of run over a bit. I'm just heading into page 2 and the FAQ ("Q. Are you sure the victim didn't do it?")... well, I can probably edit down the ramble a bit.
(Yeah, I've just written most of it in an hour. Deadlines probably aren't a problem, on consideration)

It's technically not supposed to be readable on the magazine image, and we're linking to a transcript which is the Google doc.
(Hopefully future editions will actually be readable/in PDF format.) -

IDEA IDEA IDEA.
We'd need to ask people about this, but what if we included missions and Permission pieces in the mag? Like, have a cover, some articles about recent activity and a welcome-these-newbies page, then missions and Permissions? -
It's an in universe magazine. by

If an agent pair has a really unique thing happening on their mission, something newsworthy, then it could be included. Otherwise, let's try not to break the fourth wall too much.

The Multiverse Monitor used to be a tabloid-style magazine run by agents Starwind Rohana and Estelnar Celebduin. It ran from 2006 to 2007, I believe. You can find the Wiki page here.
