Bad news for Boston. I hope everything's alright over there.
There was an explosion at the Boston Marathon.
Once again, if there are any Boarders here that are in the area, I hope you're okay.
My thoughts are with the victims and their families.
Boston is probably my favorite city in the whole world. It was my home for four years before I left for Cleveland. And in all the years I was there, it was a wonderful town, and I... I just...
I...
Why? Why would anyone do this?
I've... I'm actually really saddened and really distressed by this. I'm no longer living there, but... I just can't stop thinking about this thing.
If there are any other boarders there, my thoughts and prayers are with you guys.
And a more specific warning: Tensions are bound to be running high - if you're any kind of racial minority, or have friends who are, please be careful, keep your eyes open. And if you see a situation that starts looking nasty - especially around mosques, etc, please tell the authorities. We have no idea who did this, but people are bound to start in with the xenophobia and hate, and the last time a bomb went off in a big city, things got really violent really fast for anyone who looked vaguely Arabic or stereotypically Muslim. So - please, please keep your eyes open for this kind of stuff popping up.
Please, guys, be careful out there. It's a painful, terrifying situation and I hope all of you, and your loved ones, are safe.
I hope you guys are all alright, and so is your family and close friends.
I wish I could donate blood....except at the moment I am currently both under the weight and the age limit.....I hope they get tons of blood donors, though. Wish I could.
My work was on lockdown for the afternoon, but no one I know was injured.

My thoughts and prayers are with you guys and everyone else in the Boston area right now.
Boston hospitals are in desperate need of blood donors, if you can help out.
They're okay for now, but they're going to need more in the coming weeks; if you're in the Boston area, at least this afternoon they were telling people to stay off the streets. Call, or go online, and set up an appointment to donate in the next few weeks, not right now.
Just got the update now
My bad
...because they always need blood. Even if you have a crappy blood type (I'm A+), they really do want it.
I hear there was a third (prevented) device under the damn bleachers, too.
Good to know you got out of it okay.
I heard about it only recently... thoughts, hugs and prayers go out to any Boarders whose friends or family (or selves) have been hurt.
Bad news for Boston. I hope everything's alright over there.
