And a more specific warning: Tensions are bound to be running high - if you're any kind of racial minority, or have friends who are, please be careful, keep your eyes open. And if you see a situation that starts looking nasty - especially around mosques, etc, please tell the authorities. We have no idea who did this, but people are bound to start in with the xenophobia and hate, and the last time a bomb went off in a big city, things got really violent really fast for anyone who looked vaguely Arabic or stereotypically Muslim. So - please, please keep your eyes open for this kind of stuff popping up.
Please, guys, be careful out there. It's a painful, terrifying situation and I hope all of you, and your loved ones, are safe. -

I wish I could donate blood....except at the moment I am currently both under the weight and the age limit.....I hope they get tons of blood donors, though. Wish I could. -

They're okay for now, but they're going to need more in the coming weeks; if you're in the Boston area, at least this afternoon they were telling people to stay off the streets. Call, or go online, and set up an appointment to donate in the next few weeks, not right now.
