Yes, the Chliever and Winston stories will actually have an overarching plot, hopefully culminating in an Emergency storyline that anyone can participate in.
Anyway, in mission 5, Chliever and Winston volunteer in Medical, and we are introduced to Agent Andreas de Bry, who will become the third most important character in my stories, after Chliever and Winston themselves. Then, they travel to Phantom of the Opera to sort out a Raoul replacement, ultimately running into one of the PPC's most mysterious foes. And what's this about an escaped canon? And why is there a pirate hiding in the pantry?

Just out of curiosity, did you contact Starwind about permission to use the Mystery Assassin? I'm not sure if he's been considered general use or you asked. I did enjoy the mission, though. Nice work.

I actually had no idea he was anyone's specific property. as far as I know, he's only appeared in the Multiverse Monitor, so I thought he sort of belonged to everyone.

I'm not too sure, myself, though she owns the MM. by

I was working under the assumption that that meant she had to be asked, but I'm not actually certain. I've actually been planning on using him myself, but the inability to contact her has been a hindrance.

Well, that could be a hitch by

Because I already had an identity planned for him... Were you planning on revealing it?

However, not everything was all mapped out nice and shiny. I did have an appearance in mind for him, though, beneath the mask. Do you have a gmail or MSN? We can discuss our ideas on it, I think we could actually work together on these plot ideas to make a pretty neat result, with all the ideas that've been running around in my head. That is, if you're interested. Thought us cooperating on it would be better than unintentionally working against each other. I enjoy reading your missions, it'd be a pleasure getting the chance.

Drat, I don't have either. Can you spoiler text here?

I don't think all mysteries should be solved. by

For one, it takes the fun out of things, out of guessing.
Two, you don't know if whoever originally came up with the Mystery Assassin had anything planned for them. -

... I doubt Starwind had any plans for him. She wasn't really much of a one for plans.
I've checked, and the only people to contribute to the second issue in which he appeared (issue 14) were Tawaki, Gandalf the Beige, and, well, me. And I know I didn't come up with him.

Ah, that's why I couldn't find him. by

I never thought to look in the last known issue. Yeah though, I'd always assumed he was made by Starwind and thus whoever wanted to use him needed her permission, hence my comment earlier in this thread.

wouldn't it be better to use the character instead of letting it be forgotten?

Which is precisely why I used him by

There are certain aspects of PPC canon that I am fairly sure everyone has forgotten, and thus, I try to use as many as possible (ie. the All-Purpose Department, which only had one set of stories that now only exist on archive.org)

Don't know how to do that. by

Do you have an alternate form of email, or IM system, or a way to get one of the two mentioned? It seems best to contact you that way, so I'm trying to figure out how we can manage it.
