Aaaaaaand I put my name in the subject line...
So, I was running some PPC links through Archive.org when I came across one that appears to contain an exclusive Department, All-Purpose, which seems to be the essential reverse of the Freelance Division.
So I made a wiki article on it: http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/All-Purpose_Department
My agent(s) seem to do whatever they please anyway; Agent Sedri is in DMS, but just did a Wicked mission that involved no 'Sues at all, just a replacement character, and I justified it by saying there aren't that many agents who do Wickedverse. *shrug* I don't think the Flowers much care who does what, so long as things get done... the Finance people might lynch me, though. ;)
Same with my agents, though. As one of them said: "In A-Team division we do everything".
...or at least that's the impression I have. Considering how tetchy they are sometimes, I imagine that randomly doing assignments with different criteria grates on their nice, neat filing systems.
And no, we don't appreciate you lot chopping and changing missions and fiddling with our filing systems.
*sigh* And the Clover's no help at all. He just says that as long as the work gets done we have to come up with the money for it. I swear you people are out to get me sometimes...
Oi, you. Been looking for one of you money geeks for a while. I ain't been paid in forever, and I want an explanation. Where's my money? I swear, if you brush me off with some horse hockey excuse I'll hit you so hard your great-grandkids'll feel it.
Remove your hand from my collar, please. And maybe you'd be better off speaking to the Department of Personnel. We don't issue pay directly to Agents.
The first was slash (technically, although the bestiality and paedophilia outweighed it). The second two are het. We justify it on the basis that 1) Agent Trojie is a dinosaur expert and can be counted on to get all the biological charges and 2) No other agent could be coerced into it.
I thought it'd be the same thing as the Department of Floaters, by the name, but once the page loaded it seemed odd. I've never heard of it, but it seems kind of interesting.
